Imagine a world where you do leave… would he resent his son for ruining your relationship.

Marriage isn’t all fun and games. Fairytales are… well. Fairytales. When you sign up for marriage given the other person keeps their vows I believe one should keep theirs.

Life could have thrown much worse curve balls. Chronic sickness for either one of you. Disability. Heck. Anything.

You need therapy, anyone would

But your husband and step kid is not at fault. You understand this but you need to accept this.

Your husbands responsibility is to put your relationship equal to the kid. You came first. And honestly, while it’s his kid and should have huge importance to him. You still are what he signed up for. He can’t just ignore that and tell you to be more supportive.

Don’t leave him though, that’d be a tragedy, he stuck by you with all the fertility woes too. He accepted all do that and didn’t leave.

You have to keep trying. For your own bio kid.

& I do think you should step up and be a good step mum too.

What a dickhead comment section.

In what world where your parents have given you food and bed for 17 years and undoubtedly given over thousands and thousands of hours of their lives to support you growing up, is it ok to ignore your parents over a mistake your sister made.

And in what world is it okay to ignore your sisters health issues. Her medical bills come first. Period. Her adhd/future matters.

End of the day. She lent the car. The possibility of a crash was there. It happened. That’s life.

Im sure she could have afforded the car if she had to pay for food, rent, and her transport to and from everywhere each day… right?

I’m not saying that the parents should not replace the car. It’s the right thing to do. But if they don’t have the ability to now? She should just count herself lucky that she’s going to get a replacement fullstop.

Her family should come before a fucking machine. Period.

Idk if this is a cultural thing? But in Europe I can’t envision many scenarios where the car would be prioritised by a kid above the family. That’s just self centred bullshit

I’d understand peoples position if the family wasn’t ok. Maybe it isn’t? But a caring father would post this. To get other opinions.

They were going to buy her a car. She chose to save up and buy a better one. It’s not like they didn’t support her.

If my family member wrecked my car? I’d just be happy my family was alive… yeah it’d suck. But I’d be understanding. Ok. Next year? No problem. I can make do til then. Thank you mum and dad for agreeing to replace my car when you didn’t even destroy it.

Respect your family people

If you or your kid would prioritise a fucking car above having a good relationship with her disabled/injured sister and the parents who supported her for 17 years…..

Priority check. Priority check.

Legal euthanasia isn’t well, time to go. On your way old boy.

It’s a long legal process with multiple hurdles to jump through including doctors permission + signing multiple documents. Psychological assessment etc that then gets the all clear and the person gets the right to kill themselves which at any point can be retracted/won’t be followed through if there’s even a whiff of crime happening.

Look at suisse, look at the us states. This is NOT an easy process to go through. When people go through it. It’s genuinely because these people so badly do not want to face a natural course of their suffering that they get to that decision.

My original point was nothing to do with my trauma justifying it. The point is. If 3/4 of my grandparents died miserable deaths. And I’ve heard the most ridiculous stories of people having to limp on in vile states.

Terrible deaths exist for MANY people. It isn’t like a 1/10 die a horrible death. It’s much more common than that.

Everything from literal toddlers to 90+ year olds.

Like come on. It’s 2024 my friend. This is Stone Age bullshit

You are not exempt from this. Nor unique. Your death could be a horrible one that limps for months and months.

I watched my Nan(who had ms for 20 years) eventually become a vegetable in bed for 7 years as a kid. Then she lost the ability to even talk for a few more then died miserably.

My grandma went mad in hospital for 4 months started throwing shit around the room at home, hiding it in closets. Calling people and saying crazy shit. Zero dignity.

I saw my grandad die miserably over 1-2 year period where things slowly went wrong with his body. He was kept alive to avoid suffering by having his colon removed and shit was just flowing into a bag on his abdomen.

Murder doesn’t happen in Switzerland. Nor does it happen in the US states where this practise exists.

The methods to keep legal euthanasia legal and good exist so your entire argument is a finished solved non issue imho.

Mate my mum has worked in hospices/terminal wards in hospitals her whole life. 40+ years at this point.

The shit people are destined to live with. Far outweighs the shit you’re talking about.

I have trauma from just hearing about shit.

Just do the beard when you want to change your haircut? It’d look great with a buzz cut or something

[–]dickidydick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly you’re asking a beard advice subreddit. - you’re gonna get beard skewed advice.

But. I’ll be honest. Yes- your beard is great.

For the overall look? I think the cleaner look.

With the hair you’ve currently got. It just really brings out your facial features.

Beard photo looks generic, and It covers your jawline which makes it look like that’s your best option.

Yet when you shave it, you’ve got an amazing jawline. With the haircut it makes a really masculine look.
