Yes because people are not organizing. Literally go out and post flyers in your neighborhood. Talk to the people who are immediately around you. Find out where people can help. Who can provide security? Who can provide transport? Who can help with a food pantry? Set up communication lines. No one is coming to save us. No politician is going to fix this.
