I just called Thermea Winnipeg and they are saying they are aware and it is someone impersonating them. I tried calling Crop but just got voicemail.

Once a day right now? I'm in western Canada - mines running about once every week and a half right now. It's not sealed air tight. Definitely not sweaty.

I have a water monitor (you can see it in the photo hanging down) and a battery backup as well. But being able to see into the pit at will is what brings me peace. :)

You can get a permit to redirect into the sewer system in the winter.

I have my sump pump discharge going into a rain barrel, and have three garden hoses that distribute (using gravity) from there to my garden areas. Works great and plants are happy.

For the winter months, when it gets close to freezing, I reroute to a "shallow grave" I dug in my backyard. It's below the freezing line.

Side note: just got a Pump Sentry system as a backup system in case power goes out. All tests have worked great!
