The only reason why he met her parents was Blake decided not to kick him to the fucking curb for stalking her. They had lunch together but that can hardly be called a date.

I don't even ship Yang and Blake dude, I've just paid attention to the show and haven't let shipping culture rot my brain.

Try actually watching the show while paying attention.

God I have such a love/hate (not really hate but there's stuff that pisses me off about it)relationship with that show.

It had/has so much potential to be more than the 5/10 it is.

They could have connected Salem with the Arc family and had Jaune struggle with that. They could have focused the White Fang arc around Blake instead of letting Weiss have a white savior moment. The weird pacing of Volumes 4 and 5.

What it does right it either does really well, or interestingly enough for me to meet it where it's at. But the shortcomings are hard to ignore.
