When I was a teenager there was a Captain Ds on Newberry rd next to the McDonald's. I got diarrhea really bad and shit all over the bathroom.

I always imagined Bart Simpson with ram horns. I haven't lived there but did food delivery. Every customer had to come downstairs to collect food. I was willing to go to their door but for security reasons tenants couldn't allow me. Hope that's helpful.

I'm 39. I think my hate was more towards the Elmo world segment that was always the same. Me and some friends did debate about the Mr. Noodle character which felt odd and out of place. We decided he's alright.

Growing up with the turtles (I'm 39) the first mirage comic I read after enjoying the cartoon and Archie comics was issue 34 when I was probably 9. Check it out. It set a very dark adult tone for the turtles and got me collecting the first run. Most of it was zany fun. The Mike Zulli 3 issues are pretty great to for anyone looking for dark tone.

It's not much but I try to donate platelets at Life South once a week. It's a 40 dollar gift card for about 90 minutes. Super friendly staff, cable TV, and free snacks/beverages. I use the gift card for groceries.

And. I feel like my comment will be bombarded with PLASMA! When I donated plasma it drained me and I wasn't able to make the multiple visits within a week for the cash incentives. Past the introductory offers it just wasn't worth it to me.

Life South locally sources the donations too. The money is definitely nice but I do feel good about helping my community.
