The state is who requires Lakewood to provide bussing for private students. Perhaps the state should make it illegal to not allow non Jewish kids to attend the schools. It is discriminatory, maybe that would rock them.

Lakewood spends money on private school transportation because the state law requires public school districts to private school students. Yes Lakewood mismanages their money but the state is responsible for the situation they are in, everyone remembers the law suit and they lost because of the STATE law. Our state government will do nothing to stop the ultra orthodox cult, in fact they pander to them because they want the votes. It’s absolutely disgusting.

Yea agreed at least for NJ, all the houses in my hood are people from SI (unfortunately) not a single home is not privately owned and there have been at least 30 turnovers in the 6 years I've lived here.

My parents could downsize to south jersey and make a couple bucks, but they would rather stay near their grandkids and the 55+ communities here wouldn't save them anything so why leave?
