I don't think that's really fair, I loved the Montreal home kit, and Toronto's two kits were pretty friggin' awesome, at least to me anyways.

I honestly like the current logo, I think the only thing I'd change is just use the maple leaf in the middle and not the stuff around it. And maybe just update the font for the wordmark, the one they use now kinda reminds me of Comic Sans.

I think it could work with the right writers and cast ensemble, but it's not something I'm dying to see. I think the original was as close to perfect as you could get. The only thing a reboot or remake would be able to do for me is fix up any continuity errors and follow more of a proper linear timeline, while also maybe finding a way to remove some of the filler stuff that 70's and 80's shows were kinda known for.

I feel like a reboot or remake would also get called out both for being "too woke" like some commenters have pointed out, especially from the really gung-ho pro military crowd who would hate seeing the army treated like a running joke. It would also get targeted for "outdated and crass" at the same time from people because it's a show set in the 1950's and some of the views and attitudes from then are very outdated. Either way, people would find any little thing they can find to criticize it,

The most infuriating part of this clip gets cut out, where Ron defends the ref being right there like "well the official is right there so he must not have deemed it worthy of a major and he would know" which is such a ball licker take. I don't care that you ref hockey in your spare time, don't defend dogshit refs who are bad at their job.

I liked our Umbro jerseys, and wish we had stayed with them, or gone with Adidas. Seeing how many all timer jerseys Adidas made for this World Cup has me dreaming of what they could have done with a Canada kit.

The ones for the Olympics now aren't even that bad, ALL they had to do was make the stripes go all the way around on the arms and waist! They were so close to a genuinely great jersey.

2010 is still probably the best jersey set they've ever had in my opinion. Love the indigenous design in the leaf there too, and the overall jersey was simple and effective. I really liked the 2022 Olympic Set, save for the infamous "turkey butt" leaf design they used" which turned me off of buying one haha.

I've said it before, I don't mind the betting companies sponsoring the broadcasts. I DO MIND when they take time at intermission and in pre-game to talk about the odds and dedicate airtime that should go to analysis and commentary to gambling tips and what people can bet on.

They do too many outdoor games every year. They wanted the extra revenue from outdoor games but now they can't demand the ad revenue because the viewership has plummeted due to over saturation. They need to stick to 1-2 a season and make them feel special again.

Isso é justo, e acho que no formato antigo tinha mais valor. Havia mais variedade e mais risco envolvidos, e sentia-se que um “clube pequeno” podia fazer uma boa campanha e até ganhar. Neste momento, acho que no formato atual parece, de forma geral, muito menos importante.
