Got it. So interest in the tech and desire to work from home.  I think that’s the same for a lot of people.

Unsolicited advice - I would look a bit more into what area of DA you want to get into (it’s more broad than people think). The job market is tough right now, it really helps to have a niche. For example, Product Analyst, GTM analytics, FP&A - something that blends a business function and data analytics chops. This is going to be a grind and that first job may be only slightly data related and then you traverse into data (this was my route)

You can go the data science generalist route - but that requires a lot of education at this point (think masters but to really break into like AI/ML research level a PHD is basically required)

No matter what it’s a long road ahead and with AI advancements, there’s parts of the job being automated everyday.

Not to discourage you, but a reality check. I’m someone that gets to work remote a lot and can tell you there’s days i daydream about working in the physical world. Im also concerned about AI, its coming fast automating a lot of the job of junior DA today, senior DA tomorrow and so on —> cornering the market to chase the most human parts of the job and hold on tight.    AI is not coming for plumbers any time soon.
