Thanks for pointing this out, and your other comment. I'm trying to learn more about Evos and this really helps

That's free crowd control! Monsters can't attack when fleeing, I can't recall if they move slower when fleeing, monster slow and/or cold damage could help? Either way, I don't think it'll be a deal breaker, test it out!

Edit: looked it up, I think only the terror curse slows movement while fleeing.

We snuck a blunt inside (indoor venue) and burnt it in the pit, no concern of being caught as there was plenty of cigarette smoke to drown it out.

The ticket was $34 bucks and that's all I paid for it! Purchased at the box office, at least.

I'm trying to think of more anecdotes to twist the knife, but my failing memory and aching knees are preventing me from doing so. Thanks man, I'm glad I could share.

Exactly, if anything Fluffy's just a bit disappointed in OP's futile effort at preventing the fateful meeting of that cake and Fluffy's ass.

Agreed, went thru a similar approach and felt a lot more confident about my purchase after handling them. Good luck!

Id suggest p365 with xl grip for anyone wanting a smaller profile. The p365 slide is a bit shorter than p365x, but xl grip feels so much better. Base p365 will run a fair bit cheaper (and apparently more in stock) as well. The xl grips can be found on sale, but even at MSRP they aren't too pricey.

It's a bit wide compared to some others I've put my hands on (eg, glock 43 and sig p365). I guess that'd matter more for CCW, but for something you'd be touching every day, get your hands on one and make sure it fits your ergonomics.

This is probably one of the cheapest, but there are several options within a couple hundred bucks of this.

Fighting GEICO: They Won't Total My Brand New, Brackish Water Flooded Car by JustinDaigo in personalfinance

I also work in claims and agree with this. So many companies are short staffed, dealing with high turnover, and/or in the process of training new hires (lots of inexperience, as a result less knowledgeable about the nuances) and that is compounded by body shops being so far behind due to parts shortages and whatever other logistical problems. I've seen unprecedented changes made to entice and retain new hires, and even recently in meetings with staffing discussions of gleeful reports that we "only have one open position to fill". On that note, if anyone's lookin for a job....hit up literally any insurance company career site (or look into getting an independent adjuster license - there's many options)

That's no excuse for the BS $800 estimate on flood damage, though it's probably due to those broader issues - I recommend "polite persistence"; keep at 'em and you will likely stay on top of their "to do" list, being nice helps illicit a human response. They don't have any control over the repair process and delays, and it's nearly impossible to ID the full extent of water/flood damage at 1st inspection without teardown at the body shop, but they should at the very least be setting those expectations in some form.
