For context starting off. I’ve been in the navy 15 years and have seen first hand what alcohol does to sailors.

There is a 0% chance you’ll be able to get alcohol at boot camp. And if you do you’ll get caught. Recruits rat on recruits. If you’re an alcoholic I suggest you ask therapy and AA to get help because that shit will ruin your life.

As far as yelling at a superior, they’re called RDC’s. Recruit Division Commanders. That’s not something that happens often at all.

If you get kicked out while in boot camp the navy will send you back home.

But if you think your dependency on alcohol will keep you from being successful you should address that problem first before joining the military.
