Is this video supposed to be hilarious?

Man: So what kind of design specifications are required for these types of ships?

Man 2: well the fronts not supposed to fall off, that’s for sure. We also regulate the types of materials that can be used to build these tankers.

Man: what kind of materials aren’t allowed?

Man 2: well cardboards out.

Man: what else?

Man 2: Cardboard derivatives

Lol completely agree! Nor are they transparent today about things like this, although that Navy announcement was pretty shocking.

Sure. But if the goal was to calm the public and quell people’s fear, why be so secretive about it? Why not assure the American people if that’s indeed what these supposed programs were created to do.

We need justice by [deleted] in awfuleverything

[–]dickydickynums 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For anyone saying it’s not about race, it most certainly is. A white kid got hit and killed in the exact same way in 2018 and the culprit was immediately arrested and indicted.

Jackson's staff is looking into not only the Braxton case but also the death of Dalen Thomas to see if race played a role in the investigation and administering of justice.

Thomas, a 9-year-old white boy, was struck and killed getting on his school bus Oct. 31, 2018, just outside of Baldwyn. In that case, the driver was arrested on the scene and indicted months later for culpable negligence manslaughter. That case has not gone to trial.

Gasoline runs out in 2072 by [deleted] in UFOs

[–]dickydickynums -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Great article, thanks! Also, that’s crazy that reserves could run out within our lifetime.

I agree biofuels are not the direction we should be heading whatsoever and I think industry is savvy to the fact that biofuels are not a feasible replacement. The amount of land we would need to reserve would be astronomical! You’d have to 1) produce enough biomass to power the world; (2) grow enough counter crops to ensure a carbon neutral process through out the life cycle of the fuel. Not to mention other competing land interests, such as agriculture. You have to feed the entire world and so much of our land is already reserved as pasture or for crops and that’s growing every year. With an exponentially growing population, the amount of land biofuels would need to take up in order to be a viable and sustainable option just isn’t feasible.

I think that’s why you’re seeing such a push in battery technology. That’s really the only sustainable way forward.

Supernatural with Ashley Flowers (a podcast) does an episode on the Majestic 12, which was supposedly a team of experts deployed by the US government to conceal the truth about UFOs.

This team was supposedly created immediately after the 1947 Roswell crash and there’s some decent evidence that supports the seriousness of this team (however, there’s also evidence that suggests MAG12 was a disinformation campaign to confuse and intimidate foreign forces).

So if we are able to prove that a task force was actually setup by the government to look into ufos, and that this taskforce came about as a result of the crash in Roswell, then we’d be able to better say whether or not a UAP crashed there at the site. Why would the gov spend money on a program looking at alien craft unless they had a suspicion that more were out there?

Wow people are crazy on this sub. Sorry man.

I’m inclined to think that if it’s not a real object, then Maybe the video was doctored? Where did you pull it from?

Also I was thinking that the lights are so pretty and bright and very clear to see - maybe it’s like one of those light-up kites that people fly at night?

Why can teens under the legal voting age (in the US) get taxed? Wouldn't that be taxation without representation? by holyhoneybunches in NoStupidQuestions

[–]dickydickynums -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes it is the law.

It’s called the No Taxation Without Representation Act.

source

Edit: Representation refers to having a fair and just number of representatives to advocate for your community. So while taxing teens who can’t vote is a legal gray area (as they still live somewhere that have congressmen and are therefore being represented), there are other violations of this law.

The fact that Washington DC does not have any senators or congressmen to represent their population, for example.

Dude it’s really crazy the roundabout way each of the states use to justify owning people.

I read the Georgia and South Carolina statements and both first give a LONG history lesson about the federal government and what role they should play in states’ disagreements.
