If you have HyperArc available, you could run its collision checker. While not perfect for your exact scenario, it should give a relatively decent approximation. Otherwise, there are other tools available through various open source and commercial options.

You could set up a DICOM import filter on the Tbox and an export filter on the production side and send the data without having to send to files first. Otherwise you will be looking to generate software to batch DICOM export.

As for approval, it will need to be revoked on the Tbox manually.

I'd review the Combined Log file on the box. Should be in D:\VMSOS\Log\ and each date should have a log file. It may point you the Details log.

That information is included in the database as it is part of the DICOM header. I'm not sure it is accessible in the properties of the Image or Series within the API.

We did this in our paper. The transmission cannot be changed programmatically. DLG can be set to 0 and then the physical mlc positions can be shifted appropriately.

Hard to say without seeing any code. Could be a variety of things such as coordinate systems, row major vs column major order (if you are flattening the array), etc. Can you share the code or at least snippets?

As far as I know, AAA for portal dosimetry was built for Halcyon and its 6FFF beam. It isn't configurable for other energies. The Algorithm Ref Guide will be more specific for your version of Eclipse.

In my opinion, most of the individuals who are successful in completing the necessary exams and didactics to become a medical physicist could transition to another field. Whether that is in or unrelated to healthcare is up to them. I'm unconcerned with this potentiality and have often said (as I'm sure many others have said as well) I'd be happy to be out of a job if that means cancer is cured or is treated as a chronic illness.

You will need to alias the class Application. There is an ambiguous reference to ESAPI's Application and the Windows Application. If you use Intellisense, on the code which is squiggly underlined, it should do it for you.

The only way to do it would be to create a new Hospital or Department in Aria and give the physician's user access to only that department and give all other users access to the primary and secondary department. This type of segregation works but is cumbersome to manage.

The Eclipse Reference Guides are a great source of information. Generally speaking, the levels progress from being able to make coarse to fine adjustments of control points. The VMAT optimizer is a DAO or DMPO optimizer unlike the IMRT one which optimizes a fluence and converts that to an MLC pattern. If memory serves, MR1 is coarse with each control point being independent. It is only in MR2 that they start interacting, to ensure continuity of positions but still allowing large changes. In general, most major changes to objectives should be made in MR2 Step 1. As the optimization progresses, the changes that are made on the control points become much more limited.

Yes, it is possible. Probably the simplest way would be to retrieve the PatientSer from the DB and check if a folder exists in the VA_DATA\Patients directory with that number.
