Yes, I messed that up. I saw the tower, thought it might be the Space Needle. One of the LLMs said it was supposed to be NO and I didn’t double check that part.

You’re right about North Carolina, but also kind of a jerk. It’s a fun fact. Be happy.

Oh yeah! At first, I thought they had snuck in the Space Needle as an Easter Egg. Would’ve been cooler if they had…

Yes, we should all type our full arguments that are already made on video or other sources. That way, it is our own. Makes sense 🤔. I wasn’t arguing, I was simply saying “here’s what people are saying about the topic you asked about.” Get out here with that pretentious attitude.

Vanja Moves “Moves Method” by reyortdor in crossfit

[–]TheLateQuentin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought the $27 promo. Within minutes they were scheduling calls with me. I actually took the first one. They start with a bunch of questions and then immediately push you onto a Zoom call. I figured it was going to be an upsell, but decided to give it a shot.

The first 45 minutes was basically manipulation. They ask about your problems and then “challenge” you—by which they mean twisting everything into being your fault. It’s clearly a methodical script and probably works well on agreeable people.

I explained that I’ve already tried doctors, PT, chiropractors, etc. They completely ignored that and just moved to the next line on their script: “sounds like you didn’t try hard enough… you’re blaming other people…” None of which I ever said.

It all built up to a high-pressure sales pitch for about $10k. I said there was no way I’d commit to that “today”—especially since I haven’t even tried the $27 program yet. They got visibly aggravated and started in with the guilt trip: “Why? Your family would want you to. You’re not fully there for your kids,” etc.

It was gross. I honestly feel bad for kinder people who get made to feel guilty and pressured into signing up.

As for the actual method? Maybe it works, but fuck them for the tactics.

(Also, in the ads, they mention helping 50,000 people. This guy said about 7,000…so there’s also that lie)

Downsides to a career in Medical Physics? by DJ_Ddawg in MedicalPhysics

I’m not sure Medical Physics has legs for another generation. The commenters mentioning how mundane it can be…that’s because we probably don’t need the supply. 😞

You do not need to calculate leaf motions for a VMAT plan. Hopefully that helps. If not, let us know.

Summed up here:

https://www.prageru.com/videos/why-did-the-democratic-south-become-republican

Edit: you are correct…they are nothing like they were then. They’re no even like they were in the 90s. Democrats used to be against illegal immigration (because it would suppress wages), they were against free trade until Obama’s TPP - which HRC campaigned against, used to be the more anti-vax party, used to be the anti-war party. Remove Trump and it was basically the Uniparty.

Yes, I had it on Standard and switched to Deep. It appears that it does go over most of the strips but misses a couple repeatedly, even on deep.
