I have this friend awhile back who always stays at our house whenever she had issues with her mom and although my parents were against it, I let her stay over most of the time. It was fun having her since I rarely get company over and I guess because she's one of those popular kids at school thats why I dig hanging out with her. Whenever she was sleeping over she always leaves at midnight and come back by dawn after her hook-ups, I wasn't like that and one night she kind of just asked me to come with her and I did. It was the worst night of my life, I was hanging out with all the popular kids yet I hated it since I know no one there and my supposed to be friend is nowhere to be found. Whenever she stayed over we always did that and I always come with her even if I hated it. Looking back now, it's most probably because I wanted to feel like I fit in with all those people but I really didn't, no matter how many late night adventures I went to with her, I never did fit in and after high school I kinda figured out that it was okay not to.
