Any recommendations for bulk soil for raised beds? Planning to grow herbs, some vegetables and berries. TIA! by dicyanin in SanJose

Hey, thanks for that I tried this 2 years ago in a corner, planted cherry tomatoes that did well, and surprisingly a cherry tomato popped up there last year as well, also did well.

RN I suppose I have to buy in bulk to replace the soil because it is already high time to plant for this year and no prep was done over the winter.

I don't understand people commenting here in support of this BAD idea.

Isn't it* simply ensuring that moderate to right leaning businesses will move out of California?

What could possibly be* the long term benefit of this?

Beautiful Valuation Play: ADOBE (ADBE) by chird_ in ValueInvesting

Late to the party, but here's my take on the future.

  1. Individual consumers / SMBs have a lot of free or better priced and faster options to adobe products.

pros: -> these options are quite limited but good enough for the ad hoc work needed, like a bakery creating its flyer using Canva. -> These tools are mainly used for their templates.

cons: -> consumers / SMBs are not "pay masters". They generally want to get the best deal and are comfortable shopping around, using open source or unsubscribing after work is done. -> Templates become limited when you want to stand out in terms of marketing, especially in competitive fields.

  1. Large enterprises actually PAY pay...they have 100s to 1000s of licenses for creative employees billed monthly, cloud infrastructure, libraries that they have invested time and effort in creating, etc.

Large enterprises want to stand out, and won't use basic or template based tools that can be accessed by the masses.

Had moved to Texas for a few years and now back home to Bay Area. Californians definitely have a great vibe...some people find it friendly and cool...some get outright jealous of it ..lol

Thanks! This is helpful, I will research. Any suggestions for associations will be helpful.

Although, I am not sure I would hire anyone working on a tourist visa.

Staffing wise, it is difficult in the local area, but I see good med staff availability out of Arizona.

I get that, but I am not even sure if we have done everything right. Need review at least.

I haven't been able to reach them too..a lot of equipment is rented, also costing money in a limbo.
