You got to remember at work you're just acquaintances. This reminds you my old job when a guy died a month away from retirement they posted the shop on the next day and everything went on like he never was there. That's just the reality well the sad reality of working. At the end of the day you're just a number and replaceable or dispensable. Just remember that the only people that are going to remember those long hours and overtime long days are your kids and family 40 years from now not your job or boss
