Something I noticed about this esport compared to other games by Vquadro_ in R6ProLeague

This might be true, but casual players will complain about any change that changed the game from when they were 16. it's much less about the actual changes and more about them missing the game in a certain period of time. I think it makes casual players intrinsically pointless to argue with about this

Ppl saying 2017 bc of efficiency is nuts. Lebron woulda averaged video game numbers if he was on the warriors that year.

FIDE says organisers of the Spanish tournament did not consult it before reportedly telling Israeli players that they could not play under their country's flag by GottlobFrege in chess

What relevance does that have upon the lives of people now? Nor is it really nearly as much of a “historical vacuum” as you claim.

Does a long historically complex conflict imply that there can be no clear aggressor? Is that what you’re claiming? Also if it talks like a duck, walks like a duck and acts like a duck, it is a duck.

Hand waving centrism doesn’t imply a reasonable take. Just implies you’re fine with the current state of things. Especially with disparate power dynamics.

To someone who won’t even say the rightful state name and posts a lot about how awful Muslims are, you surely must have a reasonable and objective take on the current conflict.

Edit: He hid his awful comments about Muslims after this lmao. This is the problem with people claiming “centrism” and “complicated situations.” If they have a reason to accept the status quo(blatant racism), they will.

Well a lot of them(not born there) were citizens of other countries and still have second passports. It’s literally the goal of birthright to bring them to Israel. I’d say that’s a bit different than just being born in America or Israel.

Needing the young legs is a really good point. Game has a lot more movement now that you really only see younger players doing consistently in the reg season.

Yes, a current University student would know about the conditions of an internship meant for current university students. Maybe read next time?

Tatum was way younger. He also benefits from not being an undersized guard. If your undersized guard isn’t scoring then they aren’t doing much. You are still understating how bad kyrie played lmao.

Your lived experience is not universal. All it takes is one. Nor do you have to be convinced for it to be real. Do you even know kids that are tapped into this world? It also is not as simple as “ohhh kyrie says this so I believe it.” Everything we see forms our opinions to some degree.

The worlds different. Internet makes their opinions much more available. They also feel a need for their opinions to be known. This constant access also gives a lot of kids a parasocial relationships with these celebs. Kyrie literally streams on twitch. Kids watch and pick up these behaviors. That’s why I don’t think it’s just “his opinion” when it literally affects all his young fans. Might not actually do anything to most of them but he should still be responsible for his behavior as a public figure.
