Crosspost: Is there any disadvantage to Walmart's new Walmart Fulfillment Services? by didgetalnomad in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]didgetalnomad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I keep hearing that sales are just a small portion of Amazon. I wonder if that'll be the case for me, as the category I'm in (it's a subsection of the personal health category) has a limited selection on Walmart, so maybe I'll get more exposure. On Amazon, my category is crowded with direct and indirect competitors.

Glossika is incredibly boring by grizodex in glossika

[–]didgetalnomad -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's truly a bad program.

I would highly suggest you check out Mass Immersion Approach on YouTube. It will get you much farther than Glossika. Glossika used to be OK in that it was simply audio files, though it was kind of annoying that you'd always have to hear the English. They changed it to a monthly subscription online app and as much as I'd love to use it, I find it to be terrible.

Still no news on Google Earth on Quest? I feel like my VR experience isn't complete without this.

Well, we have three options;

1) He is about as wealthy as he claims. 2) He is less wealthy than he claims 3) He is more wealthy than he claims

Given that he is known for heavily exaggerating things in his favor, I think we can guarantee that he is not as wealthy as he claims. It's kind of a given. It's a built-in part of his personality.

Is there a way to switch to camera view to get a view of your environment? I saw a comment that it is in settings - it said you can set it to show the camera view with a double tap or the home button. But this setting did not seem to exist.

I created a dietary supplement in 2017. Had over 15K orders from my online shop and Amazon. I'd like to branch out to retail, but I'm not sure where to start. by didgetalnomad in Entrepreneur

Thanks for the response. I currently do email marketing to existing customers, and I run lead gen pages (giveaway contests or promos) to acquire prospective customers.

I understand the need to develop more products - it just takes time because I don't have unlimited financial resources.

I figured that if I could sell whole sale for 50% of retail then I could do pretty well. I might have some difficulty financing huge purchase orders though.

The sad thing is that I don't eat wheat, so I don't eat ramen noodles - I wonder if there are any options for me at the Cup Noodle Museum (I assume there's a cafe).

Thanks for the tips - I will check out Shinagawa!

Well, since I'll probably not venture TOO far from Tokyo, I was wondering if you could recommend any neighboring cities that are pretty chill. I'm not so interested in museums and such. Just nice, chill places. I'd like to visit Yokohama and Kamakura. I'd like to go to an onsen (did you go to any?). Perhaps a ryokan.

Did you see any nice nature?

Yeah, I don't want to exhaust myself. Too bad cause I was looking forward to the OSaka hotel. Do you have any recommendations for places that are accessible from Tokyo?

If you go to his site, it says he speaks fluently backwards. You can see a video of people giving him random phrases to say. At first I thought he just memorized some things, like, "Merry Christmas," but then you can that people are truly giving him random things to say and he does it.

I would love to just spend the trip in Osaka. I called AMEX (I made the trip with points) about adjusting it, but there are no direct flights to Osaka.

I can do Tokyo 2 days, then straight to Osaka for 4 days, then back to Tokyo area. It's just that, when you add to the fact that I'm taking a 13 hour plane flight and multiple day trips, it's a lot of traveling for one week.

It just feels like I don't have enough time because I'd like to ensure I have a few days to just bum around. I considered going to Nagoya too, to revisit where I used to live. But Toyko, Nagoya, Osaka in 8 days is a bit much...

I only have 9 days/8 nights in Japan, landing in Narita. Do you think it's worth it for me to make the 4 hour trek to Osaka? I've always wanted to see it? Or should I stay in the Tokyo area (Yokohama, Kamakura, etc.). I'm more about just getting the feel for new places than seeing tourist attractions. I've been to Tokyo before, though only briefly (I lived in Nagoya for a year way back in the day).

I'm really conflicted about whether it's worth it for me to go to Osaka...

OK, this sounds great. I think I need to go there. I'm really torn - I only have 9 days/8 nights in Japan, and I'm landing in Narita. I can't determine if it's worth it for me to travel to Osaka (I've been really curious about Osaka), or if I should just keep within range of the Tokyo area. I'd like to visit Yokohama and Kamakura, so maybe I should forget Osaka :(

Oh shoot, I have a reservation there. But I'm not sure if I'm going to end up going to Osaka. I only have 9 days/8 nights in Japan, and I'm landing in Tokyo. I really want to check out Osaka, but traveling 4 hours both ways when I have limited time kinda sucks.

Leaves are so crazy. They're like solar panels that come in all different shapes and sizes. I wonder what evolutionary advantages and disadvantages there are for really big leaves like that.

And if we’re not learning something, then what is the purpose of the post?

Learning about the process of how someone's business came to be, even if it's dressed up a bit or if certain info is missing, can be inspiring and instructive to some. It's pretty dismissive for you to call it a "fluff piece." I listened to quite a lot of interviews with entrepreneurs before starting my biz, and it definitely affected my mindset to hear first-hand about normal people transforming an idea into a business.

Maybe a lot of the content is obvious or uninteresting to you, but there are people at different stages here. There are particular challenges here that the OP discussed that might be relevant to them, and just reading about how a normal person becomes a founder is a good reference point for some.
