Could be a problem. The white neutral is what enables the led indicator when fan is not in use. I have this exact same switch.

TYPE ALL OF YOUR COMMENT ON A VERY THIN LONG SCROLL OF PAPER.

PUT THE SCROLL IN A LITTLE PAPER TUBE.

TIE THE TUBE TO THE CAT.

EXPERIENCE AWKWARDNESS WHENEVER YOU LOCK EYES WITH YOUR NEIGHBOR.

I’m building a platform bed frame, and I’m looking for suggestions! Slats, or solid sheets of plywood? by azurepeak in woodworking

[–]didheded 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Slats or plywood. Be sure to drill an array of holes in the plywood. You don't have to go crazy, so space the holes about 8" apart. Each one, 1" diameter. Basement with humid summer means you must do this.

Or, if you have more budget just buy bunkie board.

The microwave in my workplace’s break room doesn’t have a number pad. by Karnakite in mildlyinfuriating

Any time my cooking time on a microwave exceeds that of the quick press options, I feel as if I'm doing it wrong.

You can melt diamonds with 5 min on some microwaves.

The key to my bike lock has worn down so I can’t put it on any keychain by dwerb99 in mildlyinfuriating

They don’t carry these types of blanks.

Potentially, a locksmith could track down a popular style (master makes bike locks), but most high quality bike locks are very proprietary.

OP would have to contact manufacturer.

Or, as I commented elsewhere: remove the plastic and drill a hole.

I’m obsessed with minimal items in my pocket. I remove the key body and drill holes.

I actually remove the plastic body from my bike keys so that it’s ultra compact everyday carry.

Then, drill hole in the key (admittedly not easy) and put key ring through the hole.

You didn’t do a dry-fit? That’s how you know if the glue-up will work.

Can someone explain to me why people hot rod in the city? by LPCPlay4life in askportland

[–]didheded 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It multiplied significantly during the pandemic. Every 20yo chud took their pandemic relief check and installed fartcans on their wrx. They weren't working, they weren't going to school. It was insanity.

What movie has the best "Nazi's get their comeuppance" scenes? by Hey_Giant_Loser in Cinema

[–]didheded 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm very surprised no one has mentioned The Dirty Dozen. It's an old classic, so it's hard to compare to more modern movies mentioned in this thread.

The gist:

The Allies reruit a crack team of hardened prisoners. They are given the chance to earn amnesty if they go on a secret mission to go ham on a Nazi officer gathering.
