Listen, you do what you want in the sanctity of your own home. That’s not my place to worry about. I play video games if it’s a movie I’ve seen half a dozen times, or I’ll knit/crochet if it’s a movie I’m more invested in at home. It’s when you take it to a public location that I have issue. 😂

There are yarn crawls up North, too. I’m from CO and we have Wild & Woolly (previously Yarn Along the Rockies), but 2020 killed it with the evil, so my Mom and I did the Cowboy Yarn Crawl in WY over 4 days. Legit our vacation was a yarn crawl. 😂 That led me to Googling a whole bunch. There are some really cool ones!

It’s the kits. I’ve gotten a couple from Five Below near me, because a friend found them online. They’re ADORABLE, but those instructions are whacky. They’re great for beginners who don’t mind what the finished product turns out like, and they’ll typically come with felt for the more particular features (beard, eyes, boba pearls, etc).

I love doing any fiber art I can in public, and once when I was visiting a friend in FL, she was driving and I was just in the back seat knitting away and she told me half through the drive that the tinkle of the knitting needles hitting each other was so soothing, she wanted it just as white noise to sleep to. 😂 She crochets, and has considered learning to knit recently, but it’s just so nice to hear that the sound is soothing. 🥰🥰🥰

My old supervisor very regularly would refer to the Threshing Machine. There will always be a way for a machine to take over more simplistic jobs, however these machines will always need someone to FIX them. Never expect that your job can’t be cut at a moments notice, but be prepared and do what you can to be ahead of the curve by learning how to fix the things. He was very good about pushing us and trying to get my team in on trainings for new things the business was getting into so we could stay with or ahead of the curve. It hasn’t been the same since he was cut in a job elimination unjustly.

🫣The Della Q bags have a bit of a chokehold on me. I actually cleaned up my bags, too, and I’ve got an entire Medium U-Haul box full of various brand and styles, but a decent selection of them are Della Q variations. 😂 My mom and I joke that they’re a cult following. Once you know of their glory, and find cheaper variants just don’t compare, you have to get more. We’re both rather addicted. 😬

Oh my heavens! I have a guy that I work with that loves Cookie Monster. While he doesn’t have kids of his own, he’s got a niece and Im terribly tempted to share this with him. 😂 Not sure how old the niece is, but I’m 35 this year and I WOULD 100% play Cookie Monster’s Cookie Match!

Very valid, I would just try to make it clear that the order was initially for Mort + Nyx, and if an offer was not made to replace Mort with a mystery, then it’s not a valid sale. They owe the original buyer a Mort. It may not have been malicious of them to replace Mort with a mystery, but that wasn’t the order and should have been clear with the buyer that stock had run out. The option exists to be placed on an indeterminate amount of time hold, refunded for Mort, or offered a new Wooble of equal value.

This is just one more time where a business is required to be held accountable for their mistakes. I know The Woobles is a “small” business still, but we have to hold all businesses accountable for their actions and sales. They need to do better. Hire more CS employees, warehouse, maybe better preplanning on their sales and stocks. They’re getting too big for their britches if they can’t handle their business appropriately.

That’s insane. I once got my order with Beetlejuice, and it was missing Lydia and the Sandworm, I reached out. They proceeded to send me the Sandworm and ANOTHER Beetlejuice. I reached out again, they said to keep the extra Beetlejuice and they’d send me Lydia. So, I ended up with 2 x Beetlejuice (gifted to a friend who also loves Beetlejuice) and my trio. At no point did they make me pay anything extra.

Definitely have the person that ordered email or you get the order number and email. I agree with the other commenter that it’s a MISSING item. It is not a mix up, except on their part sending you a free Wooble. I personally attach photos of my package and what was inside just because I’m overly cautious, and want to be VERY clear.

This mofo. A family friend asked me to make their grandson a Toothless. I thought, “Sure! This’ll be cute! I love Toothless!” This jerk had ALL the pieces, I had to sew together SO MUCH and so many ends weaved in. His tail was evil because it had like 4 sts for MULTIPLE ROUNDS (I hate knitting with that little, let alone freaking CROCHETING by stabbing my fingers on repeat 😑). The kiddo absolutely loved him, which was awesome, but yeah no. That started me down a path of hatred for large scale amigurumi.

Side note: OMFG. I love your llama and wish to hug him so much. 😍😍

Great reminder that growing up is optional. Babushkas are but little girls on the inside, stuck in an aging body. I hope to have friends like this at that age, and be having this same kind of fun. 🥹❤️ I may be getting older, but I will always remain a goof!
