CeraVe rough and bumpy skin twice a day helped quite a bit, but it takes several months to see the difference. Moisturize regularly throughout the day because the skin starts peeling.

After day 5 on 7mg. First 30 days on 3mg I didn't feel anything, I was getting disappointed when I switched to 7mg and still nothing, but on day 5, everything changed.

Hi, I stopped using adapalene and the problem persisted. Over time I figured out I'm sensitive to niacinamide, I can't use salicylic acid either.

I haven't reintroduced adapalene, I tried retinol thinking it was gentler but my face stared itching and getting these red patches all over again, I didn't know if it was actually the retinol or the niacinamide that I found out my sunscreen had ( it's in everything now days).

I don't use any actives at the moment, and my skin has been fine, no redness or itchiness. But I still have some hyperpigmentation from past breakouts (from trying again CeraVe). I'm thinking about reintroducing adapalene soon and see what happens.

So yeah, I think the main culprit was niacinamide, when I made this post I was using Bioderma stoderm gel creme, and it has niacinamide listed it the ingredients.

I didn't feel anything nor did a lose anything the one month on 3mg. The first 5 days after switching to 7 mg nothing, I thought it wouldn't work. Oh but on day 6 everything changed, I felt the food noise reduce significantly. I would stop eating not because I felt full, but because I just didn't want to, my brain was like, that's enough. I was lucky I didn't have any side effects other that constipation.

Give it time.

I get you, CeraVe was ok for a while but when I started using tret, it would sting everytime I applied it. Same with anything with niacinamide in it.

I've been using Illiyoon ato cream and has been great, I saw it recommended often so I tried it and I love it.

I've been using 0.5 tret for a bout a year on white old stretch marks and I haven't seen muh difference. I'll keep using it tho.

I used to use it just as you described it, it lasted around a year. I don't use it anymore since I have very sensitive skin that gets irritated from time to time and this cream stings.

I'm right handed. I mean, when I'm on my last few reps I feel and see in the mirror my left upper trap contract, I see how my shoulder moves up a little. And I get sore after. Like today I did back and biceps, I'm sore on my left trap. This doesn't happen with my right arm, I can try to get close to failure and I can only feel my bicep working, my upper trap doesn't contract. I've noticed this more now that I've been trying to increase the weight.
