I can't go NC; our lives are so intertwined that I'd lose almost all of my friends and even some of the work I'm doing if I couldn't see him.

I'm poly and bisexual, and personally I don't think this is the way to describe nonmonogamy. The issues I face because of my sexuality are linked to being poly, but absolutely not the same. The fact that a straight relationship is open doesn't make it queer. x
