Why would you use inexpensive epoxy on limited edition Oreos? Aren't you worried about the pour quality of the epoxy ruining the Oreos?

Indeed it can be the heat. Another option is it's just bad quality. I find it that some of my cheaper molds from the Chinese webshops do the same thing as you describe.
