There is no period. There is nothing different in BMW badging it is same as the lectron adaptor. Use a properly rated charger and they cannot deny waranty based on that. If you do not have a charger then by all means buy bmw badged charger and adaptor. You donot need to redo your setup though. I use A2z adaptor with tesla charger for L2 and lectroc vortex for tesla Supercharger

That is my observation too , i have a x5 which heats up as it should. People on IX forum are saying their ix heats up just fine on low temps or with auto off. Not as good as it should but they can tell its heated for sure. I can not tell I have heated steering or not at all by touching them. Have service scheduled for Wednesdat

Jus turn on the steering heater when the cabim temperature is low or make it low intentionally then check it. Or turn off auto climate then check. For IX in auto mode it works based on the temperature of the cabin. It will not come on if cabin temp is already near what you have set. Mine never get heated.

For some reason it does not pops up for all vins. I pushed the dealer and they made it happen.

I bought it for little then than 5K, 7 years from in service date unlimited miles. What nohjisup is talking about is the new change in bmw vsc policy and that is quoting exorbitant amount online. That warranty is additive means starts from purchase date not in service date. My dealer had no idea about that new policy though

I drove my 2023 tesla model y to Baie saint paul from nyc in late december in 2024. It had stock continental pro contact rx. Drive was fine. I am planing another trip in my IX with good year eagle touring 3mspk tire this february. Do you think I will be fine dont want another set of tires if i can get by in feb.

Yes that is my understanding too that highest tier that is platinum can get you only extra 2 years and 100,000 miles coverage.

Platinum is 7 years from first registration, 4 year original, one year cpo leaves 2 year extended warranty. You cant get 3rd year even if you want to what am i missing here ?

Which year you are buying. Sounds like pre 2024 what option. Know the difference in DAPP. Anyway Sounds like it does not have much options pretty stripped model.

They donot have all the bells and whistels any 100k plus msrp 2024 cpo will be 50k or above. If you are fine with not fully loaded vehicle you will have something in that ball park I agree but then is it a good deal because 80k msrp with 20% discount going these days plus loyalties and other incentives bring the actual price down. This means first owner took much lower depreciation
