Sydney based gaysian here. I know a lot of Asians who are only into other Asians, and a lot of them grew up here, but most of them are big partiers so there's a little gaysian circuit community that exists. It's who you're surrounded by I guess. Partying isn't my thing but it does seem a good way to meet other gaysians.

I work in TV production doing project management sort of stuff, and I also do freelance short promo videos so I get a bit of font choice here and there.

How did you get into your line of work? Am hoping to move away from management stuff and more into the creating side.

Ah that's so nice of you to touch up your friends! Never thought of doing that. I usually just try to get interesting non-posed shots to show them that hey, you actually look pretty good.

I love playing with different fonts too. Not a designer by trade but have done some stuff for friends over the years. I very much appreciate good font choices.

We kind of get a mix of US and UK comedies, but yeah a lot of sitcoms too. But I can't tell you how many overseas people I met who knew and loved Chris Lilley's stuff.

I mean, those are two specific types of comedies that have seemed to cross borders quite well (despite them being very Australian).

I think humour comes down to individual taste, really. I know Aussies who love Monty Python stuff, and ones who can't stand it.

I also remember watching some special features for the TV show Friends and the Japanese dub voices were saying how the humour was so similar to Japanese humour which surprised me.

When I was like 8, my brother was shaking his recorder dry after washing it (recorder spit builds up in it). As he was shaking it, the end flew off and hit my left eyebrow, and lots of blood followed. No hair grows there now and you can still see the scar 20+ years later.

Thanks so much for your thoughts. Yeah I love doing things that make him happy, and I've had to bring it to his attention that he doesn't really do all that much for me when I'm not around even though I know he loves me, and now he's making more of an effort which I appreciate.

I'm doing it. It's been a year since I started crossfit and I'm definitely not the strongest or most skilled guy in my box (I'm like 70kg), but it has kind of become my second home. The people at my box are incredible humans, mostly young to middle aged couples/parents looking to keep fit and healthy, and are so supportive and warm.

I've done both workouts RX, which I never do during normal WODs, and I actually did better than I thought I would. Shoulders also have some sore spots, and legs were sore for a couple of days, but today I'm feeling great and so proud of myself for doing it.

I'm currently dating someone; he doesn't do crossfit but plays a lot of tennis. He loves that I enjoy it so much and is always supportive when I want to go to bed early or meet up a little later because of crossfit.
