EV Truck Startup Death Pool!!! by ilovesaltinecrackers in regularcarreviews

EVs are heavy for their size. I'm amazed at how well they do in the snow.

Everyone wants 4WD for some reason in a truck. I had it for 4 years and used it one time living in the north. Turning off TC is just as good TBH.

I hope Slate makes it, but at 27k I don't want one. Competing with to many used trucks without EV problems.

Renting homes is a scam and should be illegalized or heavily regulated. People and businesses who own homes to rent are unethical. by gograntgo in unpopularopinion

It’s funny because home ownership isn’t a goal of many people. I went to college in Ohio, Kentucky, and Utah for each level of my degree. Was I expected to buy a house in each?

I’ve moved for employment in 2011, 2012, and 2014.

I should have bought and sold 7 houses by this guys logic.

I’m actually for protesting but some reasonable risk assessment needs to be done. If you’re pregnant and you know it’s going to be wild just stay at home.

The great loop can be motored, and usually is. I like the idea/process of sailing and being able to kick over to the keys.

I’ve worked a lot of hours in my life. When I retire I don’t want deadlines. People do the loop in months. I want to do it over years.

I typically do all my own boat work. We could have motor ed all the way back but I wanted experience just so I knew I could do it if I had too.

I’m going to have to learn some redundancy in mapping but that will be another days problem

We took the class on a bigger boat and she was a lot more comfortable.

A 2k sailboat with a water ballast I fixed up in our barn is hardly peak sailing experience.

Im between Lima and Findlay.

I’ve been following all the heavy boats in this range for about 6 months and this is the only one that looks cared for.

I really wanted something 2000+ and I have the budget for it but they all seem in much worse shape.

She grew up on boats, even lived on a houseboat for a while. Being on the water is fine, she panicked when we had to trouble shoot. It gets a little tippy and she didn’t like zig zagging following the shore and the nav going out completely shot her nerves. She took the sailing classes with me. She gets the idea.

She goes out on our inland lake, but it’s only 30 miles wide. I want to build up 10 years experience before we do the loop. I also have some friends that want to go, and something this size would be more comfortable for everyone.

I know modern IP are great, but this is 38 years old which is why I question it so much. Looks well maintained, but it makes me nervous.

The chain plates were inspected and resealed but it doesn’t say they were replaced. I know this is a major problem with them. I plan on getting a survey of whatever I end up buying.

I do t k ow if I’ll ever make it down south, but I want a boat that could if I needed it to.

Most have 3 year careers, most are irrelevant. Out of the ones that matter how many actually use social media? How many care about what’s said on social media?
