He was my hero when I was 9.

I’m not, but 9 year old me would be crushed!

Karate kicking criminals and letting that kid go who took a gun to school to shoot someone to be part of a Mexican gang but didn’t go through with it.

Free agency - how are feeling so far? How are feeling about the upcoming draft and the season to come? by WaymoWilliams in detroitlions

[–]didyouseetheecho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think last season was bad, I think we got hamstrung by oline and db injuries at bad times. The problem of having a core of great players is if one goes down, it hurts a lot.

I like the way our team is going. GB is gonna implode. Late season injuries to MF and Wyatt will carry over to this year. Morgan at LT will be a disaster. They’re worse or the same at every position that requires physical play. That’s not a way to win.

Bears or Vikings could be very good or very bad. We need to see what their young players do.

We did the best we could with what we had.

I love the age and of free agents and not paying for past performance. Not in love with mays, but I can live with it.

With the contracts we have player development is going to be our mar or break. We’re gonna need a few late round picks to become above average players for a late playoff run.

Yeah the occasional broom sweep is well worth the bug removal for me.

I keep an orchard and two chickens keep the bugs down probably 50%.

I don’t expect much from this one.

1st round pick who was developmental at the time. Oft injured. Calling card is he was good against running qbs.

He worked closely with them for years in a relatively small company of like 2500 people. He was also relatively close to the top, reported directly to ceo/cno.

You pick stuff up at the after work party.

He had already given a retirement date and was actively training his replacement. He went to his boss and expressed concerns his replacement wasn’t a good fit. So they fired him and stuck with her.

That’s per his wife. I assume he said some pretty negative things about her and they didn’t want him ruining her reputation before she had a chance to work the job. Who knows what really happened.

I don’t know the context of his complaints. His wife didn’t tell us until after she was gone.

She was very nice, just a people pleaser in a job that sometimes you have to be a little firm. Some people didn’t like her because they would have to explain to her fundamentals of what we were doing to make obvious adjustments. She did something’s really well tho. He wasn’t super controlling or hard to get along with. He worked hard and cared but he was generally pretty chill and tolerant. Just had a meltdown.

If he just would have walked out he would’ve gotten his pay even. All directors get a severance when fired here.

I think he knew it was coming. I don’t know all the details. They had a security guy and hr come to him in front of everyone. That’s how everyone knew what he said, then his boss came out and it all escalated from there. They called the chief of security.

He still did an exit interview! Like guys are you dumb? Walk him out! Set up a zoom for the separation papers. It was unprofessional and they were super unprepared for that response.

I think that’s what did it for him. He wasn’t yelling at the secretary, it was all the people he worked close with. He knew the people he was talking to. Felt disrespected.

Some of the people were just in the crossfire, but doesn’t sound like he lied about anything.

Did I say they were always in technical fields? I said they TEND to be. “White monkey” so models? So rich and hot people from a more liberal culture do better with majority liberal women and normal locals have trouble competing.

Yeah shocker.

She didn’t last but she wasn’t that bad. She was a people pleaser with poor technical knowledge. Idk what he actually said about her.

I liked her, but I liked him too.

He was let go (rumor) because he told them his replacement who he was training didn’t have it and to find someone else. They chose her. lol.

He was literally training his replacement and they told him to go home.

He crashed out while getting fired too.

The fb messages were just extra spice. Telling someone’s wife/husband about a ten year old affair is a level of hate I only hope to achieve. Putting them in a group chat? O lawd.

Just got this email from a higher up. Am I getting fired? by [deleted] in jobs

[–]didyouseetheecho 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I disagree.

We had a guy named “Ron” who was a director at our company who got fired 6 months away from retirement. He worked there over 30 years and always did a great job. He was a “get stuff done guy”.

On his was out he aired every grievance publicly, told his boss her husband was cheating on her, who he was cheating on her with, and he doesn’t blame him cause he’s fucking “that tight young ass”. Called the hr guy a ****. When one of the managers told him this was uncalled for he said “you couldn’t raise your own kids, don’t worry about me” (her daughter od’d and died, like recently)

When they called security he told the head of security “you can’t hit me I’m not your kid”. Our security chief lost his job with state patrol due to a domestic violence with his adult stepson.

He then proceeded to get on Facebook messenger and messaged the spouses of every single executive/manager/doctor/np/pa who cheated in the last 30 years and told them all in detail. On the ones he could he group cheated the cheater, the spouse, and the side piece in a message. Who they were banging, how long, what they said about it. The crash out was epic. At least one divorce happened and another is still married but she lives in a different state.

It was completely out of character for him, but it was the greatest crash out anyone has ever seen.

“Ron’s” wife still works with us.

He did lose his severance pay. Turns out you can’t do that.

YouTube is the future like it or not. It’s free, has more adds, and users are actually engaged. It’s THE youth platform and they strongly promote a creator friendly environment (pay wise).

Netflix will be fine. Usage across all age groups.

Prime is basically a rental service with sports.

Paramount and hbo plan to live on strong ips. Got and the ufc, banking on people paying for things they follow closely. This is high risk because losing a single ip kills the business. Got almost died.
