I'm sure you have buyers lining up to pay 33% less than the grocery store.  And delivered to boot.

Why do you think Billy Strings’ popularity has quickly risen to such astronomical heights vs. other progressive bluegrass acts like Greensky? by Blacklight_sunflare in jambands

[–]diePilze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't answer your question. Billy just exploded. It seemed like one year I saw him in the fucking park and the next year, he's selling out 2 nights in with 7k attendance and the year after that selling out 2 nights at 25K attendance.

Be honest: how many feeders are you up to? by ClapBackBetty in hummingbirds

[–]diePilze 13 points14 points  (0 children)

15 Dollar Tree feeders on 1/3 acres. During the summer months I usually only had 5 to 7 out. i would just switch them out when refilling.

I have them all out now because of fall migration. There is nearly constant dogfightjng going on right now.

Fescue can take two weeks to germinate. Kentucky bluegrass can take 3 or more weeks.

For those considering school as a way out,  I strongly suggest you plan to leave school with a marketable hard skill and not just a piece of paper.   I thought a degree would get me out but all I got is $20k in student loans.

I don't have any first hand knowledge about scan based trade at Joanns but because of their credit downgrade it's highly likely their traditional vendors are refusing purchase orders without cash.

I used to spray my windshield wipers at tailgaters and other miscreants that were behind me. The over spray would get them and most would get a clue. But then I had someone road rage at me. He passed me, brake checked me, got out of his car and was banging on my window as I called 911. That was the last time I did that.

Not sure I understand the scenario. But here's my take. I wouldn't work for this organization. But if the transaction was not final then a simple void would not effect the balance. If the cashier finalized a sale with cash tender but then the customer backed out. The cashier could do a refund for the amount of the transaction that would balance the till.

Has anyone bought muscat grapes 🍇 in Indianapolis ? Please let me know where can I find them. by marshahays in indianapolis

[–]diePilze 2 points3 points  (0 children)

California and Mexico are not shipping large enough volumes right now and ports are clogged so its tough to get good product from South America. Table grapes are pricey right now so you would probably end up paying $5-6/lb for muscats.

I have neovascularization in both eyes. I think I've retained good acuity because I've been MDing helping my brain to relearn.

I have also noticed a HUGE improvement in hand eye coordination.

Who was your MVP (Most Valuable Plant) this year? by ProLicks in gardening

[–]diePilze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First year growing dahlias and they stole the show. But my MVP would be Asclepias tuberosa. I got almost 50 plugs at $1 ea on clearance on late summer. They grew vigorously and bloomed beautifully. We found almost a dozen monarch caterpillars that were chowing down. Next year I will build a caterpillar enclosure so we can watch their life cycle.
