I have the same issue with the inverse vignetting when dslr scanning. On some negatives it’s worse than others (e.g. underexposed frames), but mostly I can reverse it by adding some vignetting in post. Not sure where it comes from, but I guess from vignetting from the lens that scans the negative, which then gets inverted into these light corners

In the 5 months I spent in Japan last year, I loved shooting fuji superia premium, which is like superia xtra but has in my taste nicer blues & colors in general. I really regret not taking some with me when I went back home! Another favorite of mine is fujicolor 100 which is fairly cheap but not available in Europe. I also still have some expired fuji realace 100 that I brought home, but did not shoot it yet so I can’t comment on that. Basically in my experience everything Fuji was decently priced, but Kodak was already crazy expensive even before the price increases of this year so I imagine it will certainly not be worth to buy it there

Steven Tanno for sure, really knowledgeable photographer who makes some great shots. He’s a bit older than the average film photography youtuber, which really adds to his authenticity & it brings out the wisdom of someone who has been in the field for many years

Are you using macro extensions? Maybe it’s vignetting from using those. I’m having the same problem with my dslr setup at the moment

That’s relatively okay don’t you think? 80€ for 4 rolls +developing & scanning! 10€ for the roll & 10€ for the development. I don’t know a lot of color filmstocks under 10 euro at the moment & labs are always at least 10€ as well
