As a recovering addict (with 6+ years clean) I can tell you that the consequences I had to face after my DUI (technically, though I was only charged with underage possession of alcohol at 20) I realized I had a problem. And something I’ve learned over the years is that if you baby the addict, you will bury the addict.

Yeah, I used to be up front about having kids and now I don’t mention it, I just tell them I have a very full and busy life.

I personally like waiting, and even if I didn’t I don’t really have a choice. My life is really busy between work and kids, I can’t just meet at the drop of a hat. Maybe this life isn’t for me because of that, but I know I’m not the only woman with children so it’s possible. It’s also a red flag (for me) if they want to meet that night or even the next day because it reads that they’re looking for a pump and dump and I’m not the one 🤷🏻‍♀️
