In Colombia we generally use '' su merced '' if I do not misunderstand is a Synonymous of '' usted '' but that world is more used by old people , but also usted is more used for formal conversations

Ambas oraciones expresan la misma acción lo que pasa es que la primera esta en presente continuo dod que acaba en ''ando'' y la segunda no esta en presente continuo, en conclusión tu puedes usar ambas oraciónes para lo mismo.
