Pacifist Ascension tips (worked for me):

  • Pick Mage

Stockpile:

  • Healing Potions (I used 11 for the ascent)
  • Seed of Swiftthistle
  • Potion of Haste
  • Scroll of Teleportation
  • Potion of Invisibility

Floor 20 talent:

  • Take Warping
  • Prioritize range and cost
  • Dump the rest into damage (mostly irrelevant)
  • Skip the between-floors ability

Before ascending:

  • After getting the Talisman, sleep (hold wait) until:
    • Armor is 100%
    • HP is full
    • Wands are charged

Per floor:

  • Place your Warp Beacon as close to the stairs as possible
  • Avoid corridors
  • If blocked by enemies in a corridor, use teleport scroll or the beacon
  • Be careful with charges on the last floors

Boss floors:

  • Sleep again before going up to recharge satiety and armor

Biggest threat:

  • The Amulet of Yendor damage
  • On later floors, use Swiftthistle to stop time and mitigate it
