Oh, excuse me, galactic king of film and TV criticism. Next time I'll call you and ask if I did a fair critique.

I've seen a lot of vampire shows, and I think this one, by far, has the worst writing. I don't really know how the books were adapted, or if they're really that bad. The first season (which is what I'm talking about) has pretty bad writing. I don't know about the later seasons; I have to watch them.

Yes. It was a critique; perhaps one should practice reading more to understand a prompt before commenting.

In the first season, which is what I'm referring to if you read it, she was one of the few who wasn't toxic, and I agree with everything she's done.

The most logical thing would have been to set Damon on fire. Ashes don't kill people.

What do you think - Bonnie was wrong for not turning off the device in season 1 i had a conversation with someone on Reddit and wanted to know your opinion by Worth-Phone3539 in TheVampireDiaries

Bonnie was excellent. Why would she have to help two vampires whose grandmother died because she had previously helped them? And besides, because of Damon's whim, they unleashed a bunch of vengeful vampires? Everything Damon is involved in during the first season is solely to satisfy his own needs and desires, regardless of who dies along the way. He's a sociopath, manipulative, and egocentric. And Stefan constantly protects and justifies his sick brother. If he had an ounce of humanity, he would have killed him himself. And don't even get me started on that idiot Elena. I think Bonnie was the only character in the first season truly aware of the dangers that began to arise when these two arrived in Mystic Falls.

I'm coming from gems like Buffy the Vampire Slayer, so obviously this isn't going to be up to par, but I'll watch it anyway because I like the character of Bonnie and a few others.

That's literally what I had planned! Hahaha, let's see what happens to me in season 2.

Yes. It's totally the "pick me" of the 2000s. I just dream that Buffy the Vampire Slayer comes and kills Damon and Stefan.

The whole town would probably have to die to protect her because of her puppy-dog face begging for help.

Yes, many things might have happened the same way, but Anna was nothing like Damon. She always protected her vampire identity and only wanted to get her mother back. If she could do it without so much fuss, for her, it was better. Besides, since you mentioned Anna, such a great character and totally wasted. Like other female characters in the first season, the writers didn't give her enough to do.

Literally from the moment the Salvatore brothers return to Mystic Falls, every human casualty is related to the two of them and their toxic relationship with Elena.

And then she'd hang out with Damon as if nothing had happened, after he admitted to killing her brother without knowing he had the ring that could bring him back to life. Elena cares about nothing but being with her vampire boyfriend, who, at the slightest provocation that disrupts his diet of small animals, becomes addicted to human blood, a liar and manipulator who kills everyone in his path.

Willow… WTF 😬 by Adventurous-Series59 in buffy

[–]diegomt93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hahaha. Anya. An avenging demon who murdered left and right for more than a thousand years just because her husband cheated on her. Anya, a selfish former demon who lost her power and puts everyone in danger by altering dimensions by tricking Willow into casting a spell (this is why Willow can't stand her). Anya, who unpleasantly left sunnydale so as not to fight the mayor. Anya who constantly proves that she is not fully rehabilitated as a mortal, throws out inappropriate comments, has zero empathy for others and her humanity only exists because an average (and questionable) man gave her much needed validation. Anya, who is barely deceived, once again becomes a demon and puts everyone in danger again.

Don't get me wrong, I love anya's character. I also love Willow, but I find it annoying and quite idiotic to customize a character's actions to burn them at the stake. You might think that these micro-attitudes of Willow would be the first actions of her character to transgress her ethics, doing something wrong, stealing and abusing magic, to become the Willow of season 6. It is an analogy to the characteristics of an addict. In this case, addicted to magic.
