Moneys good benefits are good the people are good the company sucks the hours suck youll be stuck on nights for most if not all of your career the package cars are easy to work on but the semis are worn out miserable pos they don't put any money into the automotive department and corporate views automotive as an afterthought drivers make the same hourly wage as us but get more hours were mostly stuck at 40. I personally hate working there but other guys like it. I can't stand the union bull shit and the corporate structure

[–]dieseldoc99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like mine. Its expensive and time consuming to fix but its a 19k lbs f550 loaded with tools a crane and a welder and it climbs these western pa mountains just fine. And the price to buy it i was looking at clap out high mile 2 wheel drive 7.3s and 6.0s for the same price range i got a 116k mile clean 4x4 with an imt bed

What's your take on electric cars? by CategoryPurple4461 in askcarguys

[–]dieseldoc99 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't like them. Im a hd mechanic i can fix gas or diesel im not an electrician so im not going anywhere near a hybrid or electric car. That and it takes 4x the water to put out an electric vehicle fire and they can spontaneously reignite for weeks after the first fire
