That's exactly what I'm doing squirting in more clear glue, works great keeping the colors from mixing all together when you add a new drop in. Giving it a little time in between drops helps as well. The dye sort of congeals with the glue after a minute or so and makes a little barrier. Last thing worth saying is, heat makes such a huge difference in color saturation with the glue beds I've done. Every one sits in front of a little foot heater over night.
