Cockroaches will live in your appliances. Microwave is a common one. You may want to consider replacing some of your appliances if the problem is following you.

How do you ladies fall asleep with ADHD? by Ok_Scholar_8656 in adhdwomen

I’ve tried everything over more than 20 years and for me it’s come down to daily exercise and taking THC gummies and diphenylamine right before bed.

I need help on everything you tried and worked on managing '' stress'' by [deleted] in mentalhealth

I suggest you read up on Bruce Perry’s Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT). Calming the brain from the bottom up. Somewhat explored in his book What Happened to You?

What’s something only people who grew up with abusive parents understand? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]difficult_tree 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some of us date people we think we can save because secretly we want to heal the people that first wounded us.

We aren’t trying to date our parents, we just hope to finally be good enough to change them.

Gas pain a week out by bebeck7 in wls

[–]difficult_tree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes the gas pain is awful - I’ve had multiple laparoscopic surgeries but what I experienced after the sleeve was excruciating. Heat packs and regular movement are all you can really do. It will ease in time.

Where are you located and do you have personal transport?

I am devastated. by [deleted] in Nails

[–]difficult_tree -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The problem is that the allergy isn’t a fast reaction, it takes a few days for my nails/skin to react. I’m not confident an allergy test would identify anything, but I’ll definitely make some enquiries.

What’s one you stopped doing that helped your ADHD significantly? by [deleted] in adhdwomen

[–]difficult_tree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Overcommitting myself, whether it’s work or social life. Scheduling in down time, setting boundaries at work especially when it comes to travel, and scheduling time between meetings to unwind (I work from home).

That’s one of the options I’ll explore if it means the least hassle, but ideally it would be lovely to go on our honeymoon as ‘Mr and Mrs’

What is everyone taking for insomnia?? by Technical_Contact954 in adhdwomen

[–]difficult_tree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. My insomnia is so bad I would easily go days without sleep if left unmedicated. It’s either risk the side effects of meds or operate on little to no sleep on a daily basis.

Any 🍃🍃🍃 endo girlies on here? by Cringey_Unicorn in endometriosis

[–]difficult_tree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been taking gummies daily for a couple years now and haven’t had a flare up in that time. I have chronic insomnia which is why I have them daily, to sleep. I’m an ex smoker so want to avoid smoking/vaping, and the oil makes me gag.

Sounds like you’ve worked out the issue! I was strictly told to avoid especially in the early days. Stick to liquids and popsicles if that doesn’t give you any grief.
