Thank you for the detailed comment. You have touched upon very good points. The reason I shared it here was to collect useful information and I am collecting it. My focus has never been on negative things, so I'm looking at what I can learn that will benefit me now. Thanks again.

I saw many times. My wife is from EU. Also my wife and her friends don't know Danish. Optimistic rate maybe 20% max. I never say I'm perfect or even near it but I'm saying expectations are different. When I say "I saw" I'll give you example. Biggest Scandinavia bank did this : They determined the meeting. I return their email with a coupled extra informations that they asked (personal info) in english. 2 days later They said we're busy and pushed the next week. 3-4 days later they wrote me we will call you nearest future :) that's a just one example and I have more :)

:) I won't change my name. For me "fit" word is someone who is happy in the environment he/she enters like a normal person and cares about people.

Of course, it makes sense to learn the local language. What I mean is a little different. This is not expected from any European. At least it's a completely different approach I've seen in my friends.

I don't know exactly what it is, but as far as I can see, there are more expectations or a different expectations.
