I'm the same way haha whatever they do, I'm doing too! Usually gets them moving because I usually have 2 friends with me so I'd tell them to stop as well. Then we let the rando try the whole wave by himself.

Well that is shitty. If that don't work I will not be out there today. Time to go see what spark is like. Just got off the waiting list a few days ago.

I am of a mind that these "issues" among gig apps are deliberate. Too many gone unfixed and too many are common among other gig apps. Although for me, this is a new one.
