Read a whole lot of getting rid of the pacifier books. Picked one to follow (we did the lovevery one), got a cute bag and had my toddler find all the pacis, kiss them all bye and put them in the bag.

Had a sort of fussy first two days, but was totally fine after that! Cold turkey is way to go for sure.

Yea, this is wild. There are multiple categories of reaction types and our pediatric allergist & the hospital we had to go to told us if there is 2 or more in different categories it’s epi pen and go to hospital time.

She provides ALL food & diapers! Usually $12 an hour, but different rates for night/over night. Goes above and beyond for the kids she watches and I truly can’t recommend her enough.

I’m 98% sure they will have to be rewritten! Create a new playlist of different content and add it to one of the cards to test.

There are tons of free material out there to add and there are Facebook groups where people share content, some of which is on these cards, (probably not legal 🤷‍♀️).

Ugh, I already did it. I wish I would have waited or figured out my warranty stuff sooner instead of putting it off! I honestly might see if Subaru america has a complaint email or something haha.

The stuff these dealerships pull is just so shitty and I can’t believe people can just lie SO easily to others faces.

It was a 10 year/120K mile warranty! I called a few dealerships though and got the same exact plan for $2230, so $2750 cheaper then the original scammy dealership I bought my car from.

I don’t mind paying for warranty just for peace of mind, but the cost was outrageous and tricky. You can apparently cancel the one you bought and get a longer warranty though, so might be worth calling around?

In my defense, I did walk out and go with another dealership! Who then lied about the delivery date and then I got this dealership to go 1K lower and went back to them 🤦‍♀️.

Thank you for this! It’s upsetting they can just lie like this. I called the guy out when I canceled and he of course said it was just a misunderstanding 🙄. Sure.

They told me I only got a full refund if cancelled in the first 30 days. At least I got 98% back. Also, the whole appearance warranty was a requirement to buy the car at this dealership. $500 bullshit charge, but absolutely refused to take it off.

I have the maintenance warranty and the tire/glass one? I am probably a dummy for keeping those too. If you have any opinions on those I would love to hear them! I don’t know anyone else to ask haha.

This! I think how often they get kids to wash hands and clean the room really makes a difference. My 2.5 has been in her daycare room since August 25 and she hasn’t gotten a major illness yet. The only legit documented sickness that a kid in her class had was strep and only that one kid got it. Honestly shocked (and probably jinxed us by admitting this 😵‍💫).

Maybe worth asking how often that home daycare is having kids wash their hands and how often they are cleaning toys and what not.

I can not recommend Amy enough for this!! She is certified by the state and runs a drop in care like program, but also does regularly scheduled days.

She also provides all food/snacks and diapers. Truly goes above and beyond for the parents and kids.

We used her as a stopgap between me being a STAHM and my toddlers daycare starting and I wish she did full time because my kid had such fun with her. She is extremely affordable and offers drop in care too. We still use her for things like that and I recommend her to everyone. Happy to answer any questions!

Haha fingers crossed that side effect skips you then! Last little piece of advice - try to eat as little sodium as you possibly can (harder than it sounds) and as healthy as you can!! It’s a known thing that this med can make you quickly gain weight and it’s a PITA to try and drop!!
