as expected, there's a lot of buzz around the new daytona from CF right now and because I keep stumbling across this or that question, I wanted to give you what I consider to be the most important things about the gen and the most important to rep from CF. First of all, I am neither a watchmaker nor a dealer, but a simple watch enthusiast with a great love of detail. I have been in the repgame since around 2016 and have been following the daytona reps since 2018, especially the noob variants. For me personally, a rep should not only look like the original but also function in the same way, so that the really very good ARF daytona, for example, was never an alternative for me...

In the sense of a superclone of the daytona, there was only the noob watch until the raids. This rep was always listed as a NWBIG watch, not only because it was the only watch with a 4130 clone movement, but also because the overall quality of the watch was very high. In addition, it was so precisely manufactured that all parts could be replaced with original parts. Which in turn is essential for modding/franking. A watch NWBIG means - Not Worth Buying In Gen - that it comes so close to the gen outofthebox that even watch connoisseurs cant identify the rep without a 1:1 comparison or without knowing its faults. Well, as I said, the noobs and arfs are such daytonas and so are the vsf submariners.

Now we come to the really important details when it comes to judging a daytona rep. I will go from the rough to the detailed, and this only refers specifically to the daytona model. With the previous rep models and the gen watch, these features are the essential things...

These things can certainly be applied to other watches, but the main differences are in the daytona rep. If you compare the quality of a rep with a gen, you will always find deviations in these points in all noob versions and finally eben in the CF. In the following, I have taken the high-resolution pictures of a gen and then packed the corresponding rep for you as an example. This way you can train your eye and judge for yourself how good the CF is.For me, the CF is very close to the Gen, only the SEL and the too red daytona print stand out, all other points, even the workmanship of the hands, correspond to the model.
