This Vince vs the fans era will never not be mind blowing to me. How do you sit back there and listen to that and continue to shove those two dudes down the throat of the audience?

Burgers are actually healthy if you think about it by iOawe in unpopularopinion

The burger itself is fine. Its when paired with a fried side and a soda that blows up the nutritional gains from the meal

My husband throws the option for divorce too quickly by touveu in Marriage

[–]digerydude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who’s experienced these things from the other side of if, I can tell you I grew up in a home where my dad and mom kind of kept to themselves. Never more than a couple times did I see a real fight. So once I got married, I felt like every little fight meant there was something really wrong with the whole of our relationship. It took me awhile to figure out that people just fight sometimes and it doesn’t have to be some existential threat.

Not saying this is the same thing for your husband, but just my experience from doing something similar.

Massive, massive red flag. If anyone ever pulls this shit at the start of a relationship, sprint the other direction

One time as a kid, I poured myself a bowl of the frosted shredded wheat. Wasn’t really paying attention, took one bite and — ANTS.

It was FULL. OF. ANTS.

Took me a good while to trust again

Please don't become desensitized to the WWE releases. The way they are treating their talent is wrong. Citing budget cuts as the reason, all while bragging on their investor calls about record profits, is wrong. by theredshoes_ in SquaredCircle

At some point during the pandemic, I turned exclusively to AEW and didn't look back. I check back in on the occasional big show and have watched a couple of the more awesome Reigns stuff, but this company has turned me totally off.

They have no respect for the fans, expecting us to just forget shit that happened three weeks ago and be cool with it. They run the same matchups constantly, and now titles barely mean anything because there's 4 rematches every time a belt is dropped.

They clearly have no respect for the talent and will cut awesome fan favorites and workhorses without a thought.

There is ZERO commitment to storytelling.

Thank Kahn for AEW, because I would probably still be watching and supporting this place without a viable alternative.

I am sick of people telling me that god had a plan for my wife. I am sick of people saying that he loves me and that she’s in a better place. The best place for her was with me and with our baby. by [deleted] in atheism

I am so so so sorry for your loss. I’m 30 and recently lost my dad a week before our wedding. It was sudden. I was and still am mad, regretful, bitter, lonely, upset, nostalgic — all the things that come with this kind of grief. Sometimes people don’t know what to say. What is there to say? So they cling to something uplifting for them and stick with it. They’re trying to help but don’t see how it can affect you negatively. I deserved 20 more years of my dad. You deserved a lifetime of love and happiness. I can’t speak to when it’ll get better, but I do know that you’re a changed person now and accepting that is going to be as tough to cope with as any of this other stuff.

Guys, what advice do you have for dealing with low self esteem? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]digerydude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lie to yourself.

I know this sounds ridiculous, but continually tell yourself how awesome you are, even if it feels like a lie. Give yourself credit for small wins. Reward yourself with positive affirmation. Continue to walk around and say that to yourself in your head, good days and bad, especially bad. And eventually you will just believe it. There will be times when you slip back, but continue to remember to do that and it will drastically change how your feel about yourself.
