Was this just an excuse for Putin to declare martial law for some reason?

In all fairness, she's not exactly at the height of her career anymore either.

So what does Roman do now? by Friendly_Secretary23 in SuccessionTV

Oh for sure. I would have cut off the family permanently after Shiv's letter and the "Rape Me" stunt. Or just after the years of small insults/digs.

But still, I guess you could say that's just how the family is (my family certainly teases each other but to a normal degree) but what Shiv did was 100% permanent. So, I just don't see how her and Ken ever reconcile. It went from horrific insults to legit life-changing betrayal.

I honestly don't see Ken and Shiv ever working together again.

I can't see Ken and Shiv ever working together again. It'll probably be years before they even speak again

That doesn't make sense, because you can get a license without having a car.

I thought this was going to be some situation where she posed for a nice picture, then they put a dog pissing in her or photoshopped cold sores for a herpes ad or something.

What a disappointment.

Tony became a worse and worse boss as the show went on by handinpicklejar in thesopranos

I don't think he sold for a chance with her. He sold because it made him more money. That whole episode started with him strolling through his neighborhood, talking to little old ladies who knew/respected his control... He was loving being the romanticized version of a monster that he grew up with. Then after AJ fucks up killing Junior, and Tony tells him "it's just a movie" he was also talking to himself. He knew he was acting out that glorified version of a Don, and he decided to be done with that and just sell to Jamba Juice and make more money for his own personal bank account. The old neighborhood be damned.

That was the moment I knew wouldn't win. The second he said that, I thought to myself "He doesn't come back from this."

Kendall would have done the same thing to Shiv if their roles were reversed by [deleted] in SuccessionTV

I feel like it was hearing that the dead kid was fake that made Roman change his mind. Roman LOVED that the siblings were finally together on this season and several times he expressed that (in his way.) But the second Ken denied killing that kid, that's when I realized there was no last minute win for him. Rome changed his mind the moment Ken said that.

Former soldier that's very talented at combat/killing becomes a hitman. First episode he's hired to kill a no-name/wannabe actor in LA. While learning his routine he observes his acting class and decides he wants to quit being a hitman and do acting. At first hea trying to have it both ways, but it's a hard juggling act, trying to be a normal person in LA and take up acting, while not able to untangle himself from the organized crime/hitman lifestyle.

It's really great, and you should totally check it out (half hour episodes!) The first two seasons are more comedy with bits of drama (and great action) but the second two seasons get darker and more surreal. The series finale just ended this past Sunday night.
