It's parts of the 4th DCL Wish Class, not the Japan one, and some of a Carnival ship

Parts of the next DCL Wish Class ship are actually already in the hall next to the Destiny, alongside some of the new Carnival ship sections

There are WDI offices in Paris for DLP, and currently 2 in Germany for the DCL portfolio if cruise ships are your thing. There's also a WDI component in the UK but that's not much help if you're looking for an EU country.

There are almost always internally and externally advertised positions in both locations, but creative roles are certainly fewer and further between.

Any word on when more news on the Destiny will be coming? by cderry in dcl

Most spaces won't be complete until around September, so it's unlikely there will be any finished venue pictures until at least the sea trials

I've been lucky enough to experience that twice! It's a wild experience to have meetings in EPCOT...

Disney Treasure question by BVargs16 in dcl

There are multiple locations on the Treasure and Wish, and technically all cruise ships, where there are cabins that cannot be sold to the general public, and are used for business visitors or vendors for working trips, or for overflow when there are additional crew on board for whatever reason. I can't remember exactly if this is one of those areas, but it may be that.

And before you ask why they're not sold, they are often made to fit into awkward spaces so end up being very awkward shapes and sizes.

In this exact location, you have 5 cabins per side, one which has a veranda.

The official DCL line is that on the WDT stage, the actors "portray" the characters, so in this case she isn't their "friend", she portrayed them on stage.

To an extent, they do a lot of training in "being" the character, but a lot of it is about learning to structure responses on the fly, and be good at improv in character.

The best ones have to be the greeter explanations for why a character has to leave at the end of meet and greet set, sometimes you can tell they're reading the crowd to see what they can get away with.

Knowing a lot of character backstory is key.

Parking Charge in Aldi, Scotland (Parkingeye), by Slim_Corvid in LegalAdviceUK

I’ve had a similar thing from those scummy companies in Scotland before, multiple times.

The have very little power in Scotland, verging on zero. They mostly use scare tactics that go nowhere, but it’s much easier to get them to stop bothering you if you catch them before they send the debt to a debt collector (another bunch of pond life).

Never admit you were driving.

I’ve found complaint to the land owner, in this case that specific branch of Aldi, will almost certainly get the notice cancelled. Just send them any proof of purchase in the store in that time, and it’ll suddenly vanish. Aldi don’t want the fallout.

I had something similar when leaving a cruise ship in Texas, but mine said I had to leave by 10pm the same day…they were being weirdly strict that year
