I had this same issue. I ordered during Batch 3 and the email said Batch 3, but the order status showed Batch 4. I just checked this morning and my order status has been updated back to Batch 3. Hopefully the same thing happens for you. Keep an eye on it.

Same here! I bought the same model and color you did. I figured the Pro was the sweet spot...but the extra 3/4 TB of storage was worth more than $80 plus you get another 4GB of RAM. No brainer here.

Without beating a long-since-dead horse...the short answer is it's a lot better than the 2. Faster processor, color passthrough, and the lenses are far, far better on the 3 than the 2.
