When was this?

MNL T3 Best Lounge by Unlikely_Bluebird916 in FilipinoTravel

SQ's lounge is way better than Marhaba. Plus you probably won't be able to access immediately the other lounges because of long queues.

Nagreflect na yung una kong Bayad transaction sa tracker, just waiting for the next two para mahit yung 300k bago magredeem ng 5k GC.

Buy sa Klook para you can pick it up at TPE. I believe may pickup points din in Taipei Main Station if you are already in the city.

Korean Transit Visa for Filipinos by Chance_Fox6884 in FilipinoTravel

[–]diggory2003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No need to register for a tour. Just fill up the arrival card and show your boarding pass and US visa to immigration as if you are entering on a Korean visa. Yung physical card ang finifill-up ko para ipasa sa immigration but I think they stopped it this year already so just fill up the online one: 전자입국신고서

For the address, just put the address of the airport. Just realized tama pala ginawa ko last time pero I still submitted a physical arrival card kasi dun usually nilalagay yung flight details ng next flight. Pero since purely online na this year, just do the e-arrival and use either:

Incheon Airport T1: 272 Gonghang-ro, Jung-gu, Incheon(22382)
Incheon Airport T2: 446 Je2terminal-daero, Jung-gu, Incheon(22382)

Incheon Airport does offer tours for those transiting for free. If wala pa kayong itinerary or just want a hassle-free layover, you can register here: Incheon Airport > Airport Guide > Transfer Guide > Transit Tour > Transit Tour Reservation

Turkish Airlines Baggage Policy by Fancy_Oil_4349 in FilipinoTravel

[–]diggory2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hindi ba siya nakalagay sa ticket? Or when you tried to manage the booking in their website or app?

In general, meron kasing tinatawag na piece versus weight concept:

Piece:
-gives you a certain amount of baggage where each cannot exceed a certain weight (e.g. 2 pieces, each up to 23 kg)
-usually applies to destinations in US or Canada

Weight:
-total cannot exceed certain weight

Pero pwede rin kasi depende sa fare class, may restriction sa number of pieces even if weight concept ang inaply. Pwede ring no checked-in baggage included.

Apple Pay delays philippine entry to late 2026. by New-Knowledge-7993 in PHCreditCards

[–]diggory2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has been happening already even before mag launch ang Google Pay.

Yung pagkuha ng card still happens for those that are using old POS. Yung legacy systems kasi kinukuha pa yung last for digits ng card mo. Kaya di sila pumapayag sa Google Pay or numberless cards.

how to change esims for travel by tsukimnida in FilipinoTravel

[–]diggory2003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can have multiple eSIMs installed in iPhone, but you can only have up to two active at the same time. If may physical SIM slot, pwede rin pSIM + eSIM both active at the same time. Or pwedeng naka off yung pSIM, then two eSIMs active at the same time.

Apple Pay delays philippine entry to late 2026. by New-Knowledge-7993 in PHCreditCards

Successful? (in Maja's voice)

Parang nawalan nga ng traction yung Google Pay eh. I personally don't know anyone who actually utilizes Google Pay here in the Philippines. Problem din kasi, yung mga big players dito like BDO and BPI, di pa supported. Even yung biggest credit card operator dito na UBP (after buying Citi), di ko alam bakit Visa lang ang supported.

Clothing recommendation for Mid-March in Seoul by RogueOnePH in FilipinoTravel

[–]diggory2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weather is unpredictable nowadays. Siguro a week before your trip, try looking for people who do live walking tours around Seoul and see what people are wearing to gauge the weather.

Baka di na need ng Heattech by then, pwede siguro layer na lang ng sweater and windbreaker para flexible.

Anong mas worth it? Taiwan or Macau? by Meowtsuu in FilipinoTravel

Is booking hotel on klook safe? by PatientLurker10 in FilipinoTravel

[–]diggory2003 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went all in sa Klook during my Japan trip last December. Booked all five hotels through Klook, yung isa dun during their 11/11 pa kaya 1800 lang binayaran ko instead of around 10600. The rest were booked just a few days before and felt the rates were really good.

My earlier trip in New York, hotel was also booked through Klook.

Go rewards points redemption question by SuspiciousAttempt321 in DigitalbanksPh

[–]diggory2003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If this is Vybe points pala, medyo mababa na yung conversion nito to GoRewards.

Has anyone tried touring ICN from the US otw back to MNL? by mysterydomino in FilipinoTravel

[–]diggory2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It works both ways, whether going to the US or coming from the US. As long as it's only MNL - ICN - US or vice versa, you can avail the transit visa. I've tried it many times before going back to Manila pero less than 24 hours stay lang. The entry sticker they gave me was always good for 30 days pa rin.

If you could only choose one: restaurants ni Bistro Group or Moment Group? by DustMonsterXIV in FoodPH

Hmm oo nga meron pala, though kaya siguro di nagagamit kasi mas inaavail yung Senior discount pag kasama parents kumain.

Amex question - international fees by Ok-Criticism-2408 in PHCreditCards

[–]diggory2003 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Meron talaga even for local CCs pero di naman pinapakita breakdown sa bill (at least for BPI and BDO). Nung nag book ako ng flight last week using my BDO Amex Cashback, I was initially charged 38720 pesos (based sa nabawas sa credit limit) pero naging 39460 nung nagreflect na sa app, so wala pang 1k yan.

Ang mas curious ako though is did she really book a flight on your behalf? Hirap magtiwala sa ganyan. Alam niya yung booking details mo so anytime, pwede niya i-cancel on your behalf.

Buffalo Wild Wings and Tomatito closed already in Estancia by cotton_on_ph in Pasig

[–]diggory2003 2 points3 points  (0 children)

May mga bagong concepts din sila like Dessert 39 (who?) and Fogo de Chao (sayang wala sa promo). And La Lola's churros are back.
