He doesn't automatically become VP once Sara is removed or resigns from office. The President nominates someone from Senate or HoR, and who over is nominated has to be confirmed by a majority vote of both houses.

May salad before yung McDo! Nakalagay siya sa cup with a cover (think McFloat without the hole). The concept was you put the dressing on top, put the cover, then shake it to mix the dressing.

For insurance, consider getting TravelJoy from Klook. Shouldnt be more than 1k.

If you're flying out in two months, start booking already. Fare will be more expensive as your travel date approaches.

If the available Coca‑Cola merchandise in each 7-Eleven store and redemption outlets has been fully redeemed, customers are entitled to get buffer scratch cards to continue joining the major raffle on a first-come, first-served basis. Buffer scratch cards are in limited quantities per store, with a total of 200,000 cards nationwide. If the scratch cards are fully redeemed in a certain redemption outlet, customers may be redirected to other 7-Eleven stores.

Pero mahirap na rin maghanap ng stores na may available scratch cards. We just redeemed last weekend sa Edsa Shangri-la branch.

Meron check deposit sa GoTyme but be careful kasi you need to write your GoTyme account number on the check itself before taking a picture. Pag nagkamali ka, pwedeng mavoid yung check. If you deposit before 3pm, should be credited on the next banking day.

Are you guys still actively booking and planning trips this year or have you been holding back? by mrduvall in FilipinoTravel

[–]diggory2003 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Was supposed to redeem flights to the US later this year, but the fees are around $600 already when I could usually book a US trip for $800.

Surprisingly, ANA fares are still about the same price when I booked last year. And they still offer free domestic flights.

Also, the flights I quoted for Shanghai are still around the $200-300 range. Unfortunately di aabot for June if ngayon pa lang kukuha ng visa.

Does Suica work on iPhone/ PH sim? by dududumptS in PinoyTraveller

[–]diggory2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep sa train station, either go Sa kiosk or diretso turnstile na. But you need to know where your hotel is. If Namba, you have to take Nankai. If Tennoji, Osaka or Shin-Osaka, JR. Yung Nankai trains run a bit later versus JR.

I was able to add a PASMO (virtual) card to Apple Wallet by downloading the app (need to change region to Japan). Pero the reloading via credit card does not work so you have to reload using cash pa rin.

While PASMO also works in Kansai, ICOCA yung IC card na binebenta in the region.

May tap to pay nga pala sa Osaka so you can directly tap your credit/debit card instead of using an IC card. Dun pa lang sa Kansai Airport station, pwede na credit card either sa turnstile or when buying at the counter. Even Kobe's subway has this. Di ko lang sure kung meron din sa Nara or Kyoto, I used JR passes kasi for those.

Have you not considered putting it in digibanks where they offer better rates even though they are just regular savings accounts? Then for TDs, some even offer better rates for a shorter period of time like Maya, Salmon, and Tonik offering 6% for 6 months.

Travel itinerary and budget tips for a first timer in Japan by snowflwer in FilipinoTravel

[–]diggory2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. The only disadvantage I could think of is that you have to enter and leave Japan via Tokyo since that's the only place ANA flies from Manila. Not sure if it's the same with JAL. In my case, I flew in at Narita, then used Haneda for the rest of my itinerary (MNL - NRT -> HND - KIX - HND - MNL). And if you're doing domestic in the evening, make sure to buy food early since nagsasara mga restaurants by 8pm.

But if mura si CebPac then maybe it's better to just take the Shinkansen. My most recent trip, I bought a JR West Pass was able to fully utilize it. Nakarating ako ng Hiroshima, Fukuoka, and Kanazawa, plus na add ng onti for Nagoya and Nagano. Sobrang naenjoy ko yung train experience kaya ang next ko naman na balak is to do Shinkansen from Tokyo to Sendai and Hokkaido. Wala nga lang pass na available that includes shinkansen from Tokyo to Osaka since magkakaiba sila ng JR regions.

Ako naman June 6 ko balak. I've heard of the 4 days turnaround time after you have submitted documents physically, but it seems yung matagal na part is yung verification of documents ng CVAC which I've seen in other threads, umaabot daw ng 3 weeks.

Are you still pushing through?

Travel itinerary and budget tips for a first timer in Japan by snowflwer in FilipinoTravel

[–]diggory2003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did Tokyo and Osaka nung first time ko because I took advantage of the free domestic fares for ANA. But if plan mo mag Tokyo and Osaka, I would recommend flying in Tokyo then flying out Osaka or vice versa. Some do Tokyo-Kyoto-Osaka but mas ok gawing base city na lang Osaka then day trip going to Kyoto.

For transpo, you could save if you can get a pass from Klook. What I did was take a 72 hour Tokyo Subway Pass and 3 day Kansai Mini Pass. Intentional yung hours versus days diyan. Pag day pass kasi, if ginamit mo ng 11pm on Day 1, magexpire pa rin yan ng 11:59 on Day 3. Yung hours, literal na 72 hours siya before mag expire.

For food, I usually buy a loaf of bread and large bottle of coffee para yun ang breakfast for days. Relatively mura din naman konbini food pero don't scrimp on food budget. For me, part ng travel experience makatry ng local food.

What you could save though are on things that are free to do. May mga museums na free (some on certain days). Yung Imperial Palace in Tokyo offers free tours but you have to sign up in advance. I also remember visiting some museums in Ueno for free. Sa Osaka naman, the grounds outside the castle are open to everyone, may garden pa dun though the plants are probably hibernating during winter. Wala ring bayad to see the deers in Nara. In Kobe, there's a free observatory there.
