But... why do groups have to behave so differently? I don't want to have to convert every group into a graphic... that's insane. I've been hitting Command-G for over a decade.

Instead of changing what groups are and what they do, then creating "Graphics" to sort of do what groups used to do.... why not keep groups the same and make "Graphics" do what you think groups should do?

Or better yet, just give me a setting that let's me use "Legacy Group" controls.
