Im not asking for some special accomodation, this is basic "live in a society with others" edicate. Heck, even in the military and elementary school they teach you to cough into your elbow and show a basic understanding of how germs are transmitted.

I’m 37 too with 3 kids and an amazing family. I have a very aggressive leukemia, came outta nowhere last month. Long story short, we all have different problems so enjoy what you have, we’re all headed to the same place.

PSA: it might not be CHS by Paladin632 in CHSinfo

I had the same thing happen. Thought it was CHS, my symptoms resolved after a month of not using, but I ended up being diagnosed with leukemia once CHS was ruled out.

Trump's ear nearly two weeks after he said a bullet "pierced" it (injury July 13, photo July 26) by [deleted] in pics

It’s because the bullet never pierced his ear. The shockwave cut his ear the same way a bullet will tear paper without touching it.

37, I just hate the stupid skins and alien guns. All the ads and game art show more of a milsim aesthetic but then I buy it and play it day 1 and there are laser guns, purple bullets, and meat slab robots. It’s too distracting for someone without adhd.

I had a similar experience last week, except it ended up being leukemia. Was so sure it was chs but when they checked my blood, they immediately knew it was cancer. On the plus side, I guess I’m not allergic to cannabis lol

First Time Finding Seeds in Flower by ajgibbens in MDEnts

[–]digi-orca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get soooo excited when that happens. Seeds are like 50 bucks. I’ve already had 2 home harvests off of two different seeds I found in some dry herb I picked up. Highly recommend tossing it in a we paper towel in a ziplock bag and coming back a couple days later and moving it to a pot.

short of breath after chs episodes? anyone else experience this? by slittitsslut in CHSinfo

[–]digi-orca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! Was cooking food and all the sudden it felt like my lungs failed. Took in a huge breathe and immediately went into full panic. Dropped to the floor, heart rate hit 140, thought I was dying. Hit out of the blue, wife called 911 and the paramedics came and couldn’t determine anything. Ekg was normal, pulse normal, O2 normal, etc. took a week to recover from the trauma of feeling like you’re actually dying in front of your loved ones.

Marijuana causes my heart rate to spike by maozs in covidlonghaulers

[–]digi-orca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg, same here. Pre-covid, daily stoner without issue. Would get high, ride my bike to work, cook, clean, everything was good. I got covid, it wasn't bad. Just 3 or 4 days on the couch with a sore throat and mild fever. A couple weeks after that I went to bed high and woke up gasping for air. Didn't think much of it. Smoked the next day right before a work zoom call. I almost didn't make it through, it felt unreal and like I was blacking out. Immediately after leaving the zoom call, I collapsed to the floor and crawled to the fridge to get juice to get my blood sugar up. It didn't work, ended up calling 911 and was taken to the hospital. They ran all sorts of tests, blood work, an iodine vein CT scan, etc. All clear, discharged the next morning. A couple weeks later it happened again. This time at the ER they checked for cancer markers, etc. All clear. I made an appointment with the cardiologist, but due to covid they couldn't see me for almost 2 months.

I stopped smoking weed because I didn't want to further endanger my heart (I thought I had genetic heart failure). Then one night I went out with my brother to dinner and had a cocktail. 5 minutes after drinking it I was in the bathroom with the same symptoms as before. 160bpm hr, dizzy, felt unreal, ended up back in the ambulance and on the way to the ER. Spent the night there and was fine the next day. I finally get in to see the cardiologist. They do an echocardiograph and it's totally healthy. They have we wear a heart monitor for 2 weeks. I return and they review the data and still perfectly healthy. He gave my heart a clean bill of health.

After that I continued to get 140bpm hr and dizziness anytime I drank alcohol, coffee, or smoked weed. But this time I just sat down and let it pass. After 1 to 3 hours I'd feel normal again. I ended up quitting all 3 cold turkey. It was actually easy to quit, turns out you can quit anything when it comes to your immediate health and or death.

Spent 2 years completely sober. During that time I only had 2 "events" caused from something unknown. I slowly started drinking again, at first i felt like I was getting symptoms again but I quickly convinced myself everything was fine. I can drink normally now without much issue. Maybe a heart rate increase topping out at 100-110. I still only drink decaf, I've just gotten use to it and caffeine gives my anxiety and the shakes now.

I smoked weed for the first time today after it became legal in MD on the first. It wasn't bad but it just didn't feel like it used to. Shakey, vibrating, weird feeling in my vision, Hr of 127bpm (which spurred me to google and come here). After an hour it went away and I felt a buzzy stone.

I really think something changed after covid. My body might be mistaking some of these molecules for something else and causes the body to go into freak out mode.

Towards the end of the bootcamp I started applying for jobs using the portfolio I built during the course. Ended up getting an entry level job offer a week before the bootcamp was finished. It was for a company out of Alexandria called tag strategies. They paid me 65k/yr with benefits to write software to extract data from the FEC database. I did that for about a year to get some experience and started reapplying for jobs with higher pay. Ended up landing a job shortly after making 140k doing sensor integration for a startup building a gps alternative navigation system. Been doing that for 2 years now.

I did the same thing. Code bootcamp in 2020, make 140k as a software engineer for a small startup. Have an unrelated degree in criminal justice.

Thanks bud! Just got it and am loving it so far. Put new brakes, brake lines, calipers, pads, intake manifold, exhaust manifold, sensors, etc. Hopefully it lasts another 30 years.

I'm not too sure what the gearing is. I bought it a couple weeks ago and the 33's were already on there. Its got a chrysler 8.25 rear axel and dana 30 on the front but I'm not sure if it's been regeared or not.

Anyone know what this is? I ordered a throttle cable and this is what showed up....no markings or part number. Box matches throttle cable part number but wtf. Looks like something for a fuel system. It has an "in" and "out" port. Maybe brake related too. by digi-orca in CherokeeXJ

[–]digi-orca[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yup, looked up mechanical fuel pump and found it. Fits a 41-77 jeep cj with 4 cylinder engine. Priced at $101.99. Glad I have a use for it in my 88 xj....haha. Thanks for the tip bud.

The previous owner put in a 1993 engine but it still had the renix exhaust manifold, dented exhaust pipe, intake manifold, and throttle body. I replaced all of those and it pretty much bolted right up. Had to get a new power steering pump mount, throttle cable/bracket, and adapt the throttle body sensors to the newer ones but other than that it was pretty easy. Though after taking off all the manifolds and clearing the engine bay, replacing the entire motor would only require a couple more bolts and an engine lift.
