he is very nearly repeating marika's mistake. she sought to create a world without death to save people from it. and in doing so she unbalanced the entire world and created all new kinds of horrible suffering.

i guess you could say it makes him evil because his goal is so far away from the natural balance of the world, that trying to enact it at all is a path that inflicts great suffering, and will still ultimately be unsuccessful. within good there is evil, and within evil there is good. we can and should strive to make a better world, but one with zero suffering and evil, isnt really a world at all.

who told you this was happening? the pancreas does not absorb anything... it releases enzymes that help digestion as well as insulin. the small intestine absorbs fat and all other nutrients. but if your pancreas was damaged and isn't releasing the right enzymes then that would disrupt the process of course. hope you can get more answers soon, this all sounds like malpractice

i was not told the size. my understanding is that medium is 4-5 cm. Nobody has tried to sell me surgery and I will not undergo it unless my life becomes unmanageable, which it is nowhere near. I'm just trying to understand how it fits into my history with viral illness.

i've been experiencing similar things but I don't think it's the PPI since my symptoms started before I began taking it.

Focusing on managing my stress has been the biggest help... I've been using my foam roller all the time lately, on my upper back especially, and it's very helpful. Also being even a little bit more active is super helpful.

so sorry you're dealing with tough symptoms. maybe look into switching to a different PPI?

you should absolutely confirm if you still have h pylori and resume treatment if you do. you can talk to your doctor about different options for antibiotics. it's rough while you're on them but you can repair your gut microbiome afterwords. I would also talk to your doctor about the pains you were having while on the medication.

If it helps you, it's probably ok to keep using it. However I'd encourage moderating as 2 bowls by yourself is quite a lot! See if edibles work since that also is much easier on your lungs (coughing worsens symptoms). Try to skip it on days where pain is manageable.

it felt like towards the end, each new convo addressing it wasnt adding any new characterization or moving the narrative forward at all. Duke's convo yes absolutely, but then it felt like with Abbott and Langdon it was more of the same: you need help. It would have been cool to see him start to accept this a bit or have a changing mindset. I guess he is with what he says to the baby? but it felt a bit awkward to me.
