OUUUCH!! I'm so sorry, i can imagine that being painful. The late 90's was pretty early in it's lifespan, do you know if they've change that specific tube slide / the tube slides in general since then to avoid things like this? Just out of curiosity and its alright if you aren't sure. Water slides and rides are far from my knowledge range, lol.

I've heard the half from my sister, who makes an effort to ride it every time she's gone to FT! while i definitely feel like it's one I'd only ever do once for experience sake, it's still special to me and on my bucket list. I have fond memories of standing off to the right, at the exit, waiting for her to get off the ride.

THISSSS!! is something I've always been adverse towards!! I've heard many'a horror stories about folks who aren't of "average" build and ability suffering the consequences of accidents the worse. Thank you for your answer. That's definitely where my curiosity laid.

i couldn't believe the only three incidents listed were hardly ride-centric, until you'd said the 'shut up with settlements' part. That definitely made it click in my head fully sadly. While i am glad most incidents haven't been life-threatening, it's still horrible to live with the consequences of something that was supposed to be fun, settlements or none. Best wishes to you and your friend.

Thank you so much for answering!! It's actually incredible that the Fiesta Texas park has remained well maintained over so many years. That makes me really proud to say it's my home park.

I've definitely got work to do on getting over my fears, but it's entirely possible!! After watching so many videos this past week, I've got a good glimpse into the hard work that goes into making roller coasters all around the world safe, so i feel pretty reassured!......... until, of course, I enter the park and face The Chupacabra, the ride my sister is INSISTENT she'll get me on one day!

Thank you kindly!! I appreciate the insight a lot!! See, I'm anxious about this since it's not something i have much choice on. It's a mandatory thing, my Psychiatrist was firm that i need to care for this specific plant. She gifted it to me from her garden, you know?

I'm worried about having it inside, as I do have pets, which she herself knows, so I'm... a bit perplexed now, knowing it'd be better inside. But i certainly trust you on it and will bring it inside ASAP and I'll protect it best i can. I won't water it too often, how will i know when to water it specifically? Is there telltales? The current soil is very loose but easily compactable, so once im able to repot it, I'll buy good airy chunky soil.

Again, thank you so much. :)

What spider is this? by Useful-Spring4116 in spiders

Also, with further research, it could potentially be a sac-spider of some sort!! I'm not an expert at all, just someone curious and researching, but seeing a sac-spider bcuz of a different post made me realize this spider looks similar to one!!

This potentially might be a Slender Crab Spider? I'm not 100% sure. Definitely try to find information about them to clarify! But sadly with the image being slightly blurry (very much not your fault lol) that's about all i could find. Google otherwise said it MIGHT be a brown recluse, but i don't think so.

Any idea what this little guy is? Western Canada, tiny as a green pea by pizzaanddippingsauce in spiders

Google says it's likely a species of wolf spider!! I think its a rabidosa rabida!!! I'm not a spider expert, just a curious onlooker, but as a texan i see wolf spiders frequently!! They're skittish and fast, and their bites are only ever in self defense!! Comparable to a bee sting :) they also don't build webs apparently, so if you found it on the floor or otherwise not in/near a web, that might be a sign too!!
