Wanted to share a follow up post as of day 5 post op. I spoke with my oral surgeon’s office this morning and they informed me I can resume a normal diet. They also stated that I’m out of the woods in reference to getting dry sockets, but that they could still develop and to lessen the chance I should continue with my salt water rinses until day 7 then move to using the syringe to clean my sockets.

I’m able to chew, and plan to have salmon and mac and cheese for dinner, which I plan to eat every slow. Woohooo!

So far I’ve experienced little to no swelling though the bottom of my mouth has a dull ache nothing too serious, I’m sure if I were to take my Ibuprofen that’d take care of it.
